Eleven Restaurant and Nightclub

Eleven offers a wide variety of entertainment and the best food in LA

  • Happy Hour 4-7
  • Sat and Sun Brunch 11-3
  • DJ Sat and Sunday

The building was originally the First National Bank of Sherman and later Larrabee Sound Studios. It was stripped back to the basics and the restaurant décor is exposed brick, wood beams and mosaic tile. The upstairs loft dining room overlooks the bar downstairs. Divided from the dining room by a fireplace is an upstairs lounge. A tiny stage across from the dining area has just enough room for a DJ. An aerialist performs between diners and DJ on weekends. Join us Tuesday Fude, Wednessday Cabaret dinner, thursday 50% off bottles of wine, Friday and Saturday DJ Hicks and DJ Morningstar, Saturday and Sunday 11-3 Champage Brunch.

Editorial Review for Eleven Restaurant and Nightclub – by Michael Martin

In Short
Located in a historic 1920s bank building, this WeHo supper club is among a new breed of upscale nightlife in Boys' Town. A marble-and-glass staircase leads to the loft-like restaurant area, where New American menu highlights by chef Vincent Manna (Maple Drive) include crispy-skin poussin, Denver sole and sauteed pheasant breast. By 11pm, the street level bar and patio are bursting at the seams with a mixed crowd of mostly gay men. The raised stage features choreographed dance routines and aerial shows throughout the night.

After waiting for 45 mins for my reservation, the useless hostess asked "are you still interested for a table?" I was told by the useless hostess to grab the table before any one else took it before me. If I would have known this since the beginning I would have done that. It is very unfortunate this place does not know what service is and that they hire brainless people to work for them. To top my night off, my friend order the rib eye med rare. Unfortunately, the rib eye came well done, so he sent it back. 10 mins later they brought back a new york steak and told him that was rib eye.....................we brought this issue to their attention and the so called "mgr" who was partying up with his friends next to our table came and apologized and reassured him the steak he got was the rib eye. Even the waiter agreed with the fact the steak brought to us was a new york steak. I am so sorry for the owner of this place who hires ignorant staff who can not identify a rib eye from a new york steak. Needless to say, I will never visit this place again due to the lack of service and obvious training the entire staff gets.

Pros: Location

Cons: Staff is not very bright

Absolutely agree with Wehoguy's review. Cocktails are the only thing worth paying for at Eleven. The service is laughable and the food is mediocre at best. I was there for dinner recently with 5 friends, and all but one of our orders were incorrect. We all waited a ridiculously long time for our food and one of us did not get a main course at all. No real apology, no free food or dessert to make up for it, but the restaurant graciously offered not to charge us for the food we didn't order. Needless to say we won't be back.

Pros: Decor and location

Cons: Food and service
