Tasty and Healthy Snack. I read the reviews complaining about this place, but there is a reason it is so popular: its product tastes good! In addition to the tasty yogurt, the generous fruit toppings are healthy and yummy. This makes a great substitute for those who are craving ice cream or another fatty desert.

ONE MORE GATHERING OF NUMB-MINDED TREND-RATS!. Yes, yes, yes. Pinkberry's trendy as hell. Its decor falls somewhere between that of an IKEA cafeteria & a Tokyo nightmare & the lines are out the door. I'm most familiar with the establishment on Vermont in Los Feliz but friends in New York say it's a hotspot there as well. The place is packed all day & night. Glassy-eyed hipsters wander out into the street with trays of the stuff. I tried it twice & personally found the "yogurt" to taste like a tarnished silver spoon. But maybe that's just me. Here's something: The yogurt they serve is delivered to the place in powdered form. And there's word it's not fat-free. Their website currently offers a vague assurance of wholesomeness but notes the company is "investigating" recent inquiries into the nature of the product (see "About " at www.pinkberry.c_m). So, if you're after a low calorie, "fat-free" wretched mystery then climb on board - the ship of fools is hoppin' - but be sure to wear your black All-Stars if you want a seat at the cool table. My humble suggestion (for those in the Los Feliz area)... cowboy up fattys & check out the Hollywood Gelato Co. on Hillhurst. Gelato's not fat-free either but it's significantly richer yet healthier than ice cream (due to the making process & the fact it's key ingredient is milk rather than cream) & there's way more than two flavors to choose from. In closing, it is my firm belief that the sooner we shake baseless trends, crucify mediocrity in the parking lots of shopping malls & demand good products the better off we'll be as a race. That said, let's hope Pinkberry shortly packs the powder in its bags & takes the dopey hordes with 'em. - J_James

Go down the street and there's no line!. There's a yogurt place called "Gelato Day" on Melrose in a strip mall just east of Vine. It's so sad - just down the street on larchmont there are lines out the door but they have hardly any business. their yogurt tastes just like pinkberry's except it's cheaper - AND they have an additional flavor, strawberry....if you don't feel like the hassle, just go to this place and support them!

Tastes like sour milk - don't believe the hype.. So, all I keep hearing about is Pinkberry, and how 'awesome' it is. So of course as someone who loves LA and whose friends count on her to know what's what around town, I pop in and can't wait for one of my favorite treats: Frozen Yogurt. What I recieved, instead, tasted like sour milk.

Pinkberry is simply a natural yogurt shop with avergae toppings. Oh - that is way overpriced. So why all the hype? I really don't get it.

They only serve "natural yogurt", which they speak about with such reverie you'd think it's a cure for cancer. It's not. It's basically sour milk that they load - and when I say load, I mean a very small spoonful that they press into the yogurt - with average toppings. Apparently, some people thing that topping your yogurt with Captain Crunch is cutting edge. It's not.

Pinkberry has only 2 flavors to choose from and very limited toppings. Trust me people, do not waste your time or money. It's just not good. Unless I'm missing some secret entrance or 'members only flavor', I don't understand what all the rage is about Pinkberry.

If you love frozen yogurt as much as I do, try the place on Santa Monica and San Vicente on the north side of the street. Can't remember the name, but a) they have parking, b) they have like 10 flavors to choose from that are always changing (INCLUDING natural!!), and c) they really do load on the toppings - and they have about 3 times as many to choose from.

Yogurt Facts... and BOLD lies. First things first... lets get down to the facts of all these yogurt buzz.

Pinkberry yogurt is sooo~ Not "NON-FAT" - The base powder they use isn't Non-Fat itself. The store has been spoted receiving Low Fat milk delivery many times and many previous employees states that it has never used Non-Fat milk, EVER.

The reason for mix opinion from many people who went to pinkberry? The business was more focused on launching more locations (which equates to obvious reasons... MONEY) and less interested to the satisfaction of their dear customers who assisted its enormous media attention and publicity. The rapidly growing chain store forgot the most basic fundamentals, quality control.

Pinkberry is good, I'm not gonna take away any credit but it has room for improvements.

For people who like this stuff... give yourself options and look around for similar stores that are opening around you. Like boba evolution, everyone liked it without knowing why in the begining. As time passes you will soon learn to distinguish which tastes good and which tastes GREAT. Pinkberry may have started the new trend... but it may not always be the finisher of the race.

Bottom line if you like it... give other places a try. Many will open in the next years but only few will survive.

Happy Eating...

Only if you're curious.... I guess if the health factor were a consideration, this would be a great place for dessert. Given that I rarely care how healthy my dessert is (it is after all dessert), this place would not be very high on my list of places to go. I went out of curiosity and ordered a plain yogurt with strawberries. Not bad by any means, but the taste certainly was a surprise. It tasted more like yogurt than the frozen yogurt I imagine everybody is accustomed to. This isn't a place I would object going back to, but certainly not something I would crave nor go out of my way to get.

unusual but tasty. had to go see what all the hype was about. went to the west hollywood location thurs evening and there was only 1 person in front of me. no crazy lines. tasted the plain vs green tea froyo before ordering. the green tea was not to my liking but the plain was refreshing. tasted a bit like cream cheese and lime juice, sweet and tart at the same time. topped it with fresh fruit and had a great refreshing dessert. it's especially good for those that are lactose intolerant, like i am.

what's the buzz about?. This is another one of those places that get mentioned on Oprah (Sprinkles) and are all of a sudden the best thing ever. It's good, but only worth it if you are one of those people who has to do what the cool kids are.

Awesome Frozen Yogurt. The parking at this location is considerably easier than the West Hollywood store, but the product is just as good. The service is efficient, and the employees are nice. You can ask for samples of either yogurt flavor if you're not sure what to get, but the green tea flavor is so mild as to be nearly imperceptible. For some first-timers, the plain might be a shock; it isn't vanilla but actual plain yogurt. However, with the toppings it's plenty sweet and the tartness is actually welcome!
