great happy hour food, great service, cool place, nice atmosphere, great casual dining restaurant, friendly staff, very good blue cheese
Yummy, hard to park. Checked out Granville for an early dinner.. the only problem I had was the parking..It took a few trips around the block to find a space... (although there is garage parking close by I just felt like trying my luck for street parking) The food presentation was perfect, our waiter was excellent and the vibe was cool. I am heading back on Saturday to check in for lunch with a friend who in town this weekend. I think this will be the perfect place for a little food, some shopping and maybe take in a movie down the street!!
Really Enjoy The Food!!. I enjoy their food here. I don't know if it's also the same chef cooking as the one in Top Chef this season, but at least I like the super fast way they get the food out to you, without feeling hurried. More accurately, I think I should say that the food comes out in successions, at the perfect timing.
Unmemorable. I had breakfast here and was disappointed, it was overpriced for french toast & there was a very small selection. The latte was just alright. It wasn't terrible, but I have no desire to go back. Unmemorable.
Nice Casual Dining Experience. The burger and sweet potato fries were delicious. Obviously not for someone watching their caloric intake, nonetheless worth splurging if you haven't cheated on your workouts. The service was friendly and the ambiance very cool--good music, located right on the strip in the middle of Burbank Village. A bit pricey, but I rather spend a bit more and get good service, a clean restaurant and competent people serving us.
Good food, deco and service, but way too pricey for a cafe. I like this casual dining cafe, they have nice decor with friendly staff. A relaxing patio seating to look out on San Fernando Road. The food is good, they have some interesting dish on the menu. The only drawback on this place is pricey for what you get. I believe is because they use organic ingredients. I was there just 2 days ago, ordered the "Land and Sea" entree which include 2 "tiny" Filet Mignon Medallions and 8 little shrimp on some mash potato and they charge you $26.00 for it. And OMG, they have sandwiches that cost $15.00. Its really wasn't worth paying that much for. And the Hummus and flat bread for $9.00, OMG it was good, but it still not worth the money, maybe $6.00 is more like it. From now on, the only time I'm going there is when I have a coupon or something. To tell you the truth, Elephant Bar just around the corner is worth every dime with very good food and service and it won't clean out your wallet. If you're into Organic foods, this is a good place to go.
Great casual dining restaurant with the best sweet potato fries!. I really love the sweet potato fries at Granville! They have a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner menues. If you like strawberry desserts, you have to try the Berry Patch Shortcake!
Granville Cafe My new favorite place...just don't order the Angel Hair Pasta with Lobster.
I love this place....with it's rustic American decor, fireplaces, iron work, art etc. Not only is the atmosphere pleasant and romantic but the food is grrrrrrreat. My husband and I started off with the seared Ahi tuna with smoked mozarella cheese it was delicious and the serving was perfect for two. I ordered the Angel Hair pasta with lobster and my husband had the "Village Favorite" the pork chop. The pork chop with the cranberry garnish was excellent, too bad my pasta was not. Granville should stick to all American cuisines because my pasta was great but the lobster was tasteless and rubbery. The lobster was cut into small little pieces, which looked and tasted more like little rubbery shrimp pieces and I don't why they added pickled artichoke hearts, it just made it worse. The grilled pork chop was gigantic and the heavenly sweet potato fries made me forget about my bad meal. It was worth it!!! P.S. have them serve the sweet potato fries that comes with the huge pork chop on a separate plate so they won't become soggy....since they tase so heavenly when they are crispy.

Great food!. My hasband and I vivisted Granville after having a wonderful day at the spa next foor for our anniversary. We got a seat next to the fireplace which was so nice. The food was very good and the ambiance was great. I recommend their Salmon and thei 5 cheese artizan pizza, yummy! Try it!
Incredible Menu. I moved from Los Angeles to Memphis 7 months ago and Granville has been one of those places that I frequently find myself daydreaming about and wishing I could go. I ate there probably 7 or so times before I left LA (never tried breakfast though) and the food was never less than delicious! Their sweet potato fries w/blue cheese dipping sauce are absolutely to die for! I've never had sweet potato fries quite like them. Another favorite is the chicken and blue pizza... soo unusual (it has figs!) and incredibly tasty!! Granville has such a diverse and unusual menu that you're sure to find something for everyone. The service was usually speedy and the atmosphere is nice. You can't go wrong with Granville!!
