This place is great! You are warmly greeted as soon as you walk in. Service is great, food is great! You just can't go wrong with this place. One of the employees; Raquel, has really good service there, she gives you recommendations as to what you may like, specials that they have, and makes sure you are satisfied with your visit there. I will most definitely be returning. Good job guys!

Great food, but that girl only gets the order right 20% of the time. Seriously. That isn't an exaggeration. She's the only reason I don't go there anymore.

bad service. THE FOOD OK. THE SERVICE HORRIBLE!! THE LITTLE BLOND BITCH CANT READ AND SHES A LIAR. THE FIRST TIME I ORDERED THE COMBO PLATE WITH COLE SLAW AND CORNBREAD. THE GIRL DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME CORNBREAD THE COLE SLAW WAS JUST LETTECE WITH WATERED DOWN SAUCE. THE SAUSAGE AND RIBS WAS GOOD. I CALLED AND TOLD THE BLOND GIRL SHE DIDNT GIVE ME CORNBREAD AND SHE CHARGED ME EXTRA FOR IT. SHE SAID SHE DIDNT CHARGE ME AND THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY THAT DAY.(SHE LIED) I REMEMBER HER GIVING ME ANOTHER PRICE AFTER I ORDERED IT. A GUY GOT ON THE PHONE AND SAID THEY WILL GIVE ME MY MONEY AND FREE CORN BREAD NEXT TIME. SO TODAY I WAS GETTING GAS NEXT DOOR SO I WENT OVER. I TOLD THE OTHER GIRL WHAT HAPPENED THE LAST TIME AND WHAT I WANTED TODAY. THE BLOND BITCH WAS MAKING THE FOOD. I GET ALL THE WAY HOME AGAIN, OPEN THE BOX AND THEY DIDNT GIVE ME SAUSAGE WHEN THATS WHAT I WENT THERE FOR. I CALLED AGAIN. THE BLOND BITCH ANSWERED WHEN I ASKED HER TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I DROVE BACK TO THE PLACE. I TOLD HER SHE WAS WRONG TO HANG UP IN MY FACE. SHE SAID SHE HAD TOO. I TOLD HER SHE HAD THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AND THIS IS THE SECOND TIME. I CALLEDA HER A LIAR. SHE STARTED YELLING AND CALLING ME A BITCH. I WENT OFF ON HER AND TOLD HER TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. IT TURNED INTO A BIG ARGUEMENT. SHE SAID SHE READ THE ORDER WRONG.(CANT READ)

THEY NEED TO FIRE HER!!!! NO MATTER WHAT SHE MADE MY ORDER WRONG TWICE. SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROFESIONAL AND JUST FIXED IT. NOT LYING, HANGING UP, TALKING SMACK, CALLING ME NAMES. THE OTHER NICE YOUNG LADY CALLED THE MANAGER. THE MANAGER HEARD HER CALLING A BITCHES FROM ON THE PHONE.

THEY BETTER FIRE THAT BITCH BECAUSE THIS IS NOT OVER.

DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE!!! ITS A MUCH BETTER PLACE CALLED UNCLE ANDRES BBQ IN NORTH HOLLYWOOD ON COLDWATER AND RIVERSIDE MUCH BETTER FOOD AND SERVICE AND EVERYTIME I GO THERE I SEE A CELEBRITY. AND THEY HAVE BETTER PRICES CHECK IT OUT

Texas BBQ in LA, Really. We lived in Dallas for 10 years and now in LA for 25. This is the first BBQ in California that gets what Texas BBQ is all about. In Dallas and North Texas Brisket is king. It has to be smoked long and slow. This is the closest to Dallas brisket that I have had here. By Texas standards this would be a average joint but in LA it is a standout from the grilled meat fare that seems to pass for Bar-B-Que here.

Great BBQ food. The slow cooked food is very tasty. The Ribs and Tri Tips are my favorate, but anything you try is good!

I took some fellow workers there and they keep going back for more. Try it you will like it.

The most horrible food/bbq ever1!!. oh my god,

im sorry but absolutely the worst food/bbq ever!!!! the BBQ sauce was cold the brisket was old cold and dry as hell! The sausage tasted nothing special at all, just heated in the microwave...ahhhh the mac n cheese was old I thought the mac n cheese was going to be the bomb like el pollo loco i mean at least better, mac n cheese in the box was better! tasted like dish washing soup, tastless horrible the beans were over greasy slug. the baby BBQ ribs was undercooked and served cold. just horrible! not worth the shocking $15!!!!!! service staff was also very boring and mediore like they hated their job

The Swinging Door Texas BBQ - Great Texas "Q" - located at Vineland/Vanowen streets in North Hollywood. Simply the best slow smoked BBQ brisket and baby back ribs. Family owned. I'm informed the family has successfully placed in the famous Houston Livestock show and Rodeo World Championship BBQ cook-off. Side orders are house made and fresh.

Parking is tough at times. Insider tip: Owner also owns the gas station next door so you can park anywhere behind the gas station without fear of a ticket [big smile]. Enjoy! Highly recommend.
