Circuit Works Sucks

by zbhand at Citysearch

In my opinion, this business and its leaders are disorganized and unprofessional. When we bought two sets of passes to take five classes, we thought it would be as easy as advertised to get the classes going. We called up on a Wednesday and scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning. When we showed for the class, 20 minutes early, we were told that the class was full and they only reserved one spot. This was untrue. The representative, Maureen, was dismissive and rude. After talking to the manager, Justin, we were told we could come the following morning for the 9:30 a.m. class. While disappointed, we confirmed the time with Maureen for 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. When we showed up the following morning at 9:15 a.m. for the class, we were again told the class was full and in fact started at 9:15 a.m. Either Maureen the previous day was negligent in confirming the start time or intentionally misled us. In either case, after wasting two mornings and dealing with some of the dumbest people I think I have ever met, I can say, in my opinion, that this is a terribly run business that makes false promises and engages in unfair business practices. I will get my money back. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

good gym, bad policies

by urbanspine at Citysearch

some of the exercises were questionable, but most shocking...classes are a whopping $28 bucks per person...for a good ten folks a class...yet the trainers get a measly $10 an hour!

Not cool.

Circuit Works rocks!

by fitnfun2010 at Citysearch

I've never encountered a workout that I enjoy more than this class. It is hands down the best workout I've ever experienced. Raphael, Alba, and the staff are amazing and make you feel like part of the Circuit Works family. My friends that I've brought with me have all loved it and have come back for more. I can't get enough of it and I can tell you that you will not get a better workout anywhere in LA...Circuit Works delivers results. And there's a new Brentwood location!!!!

  • Pros: staff, locations, intense workout, fun

Best workout EVER!

by bgblockbh at Citysearch

Circuit works is amazing! It is the best workout you will get anywhere in los angeles and your body will thank you. It is very fast-paced, fun, high energy class with great music. The classes are small enough that you feel a part of the "circuit works family" and you get attention from the trainers, but they are big enough not break your budget. I used circuit works nutrition and workout program and lost 40 lbs in 4 months!!!!!!
