In addition to Swedish and deep tissue massage, these therapists also perform sports massage, stone massage and reflexology--and at the most appealing price.

pretty good deal

I just got done with my appointment with Shoshana and I was pretty pleased with the service and the price. Definitely coming back to this place. Shoshana was very good... very strong hands. I requested less pressure but when I requested for more pressure on my lower back...I could tell how strong her hands were. Very very good experience.
Great local place

I like it. Its clean and quiet and not Thai oriented as much as other places in town. I like the therapists that concentrate on Sweedish vs. "Thai bordering on Chiropractic". It makes me nervous when they start cracking because I don't know if they are qualified to do that. So I request Sweedish style. It smeels like a spa and is very relaxing. I've had some good and some not so good therapists, so you have to ask questions when you schedule to get someone who fits your style. The receptionists usually know who is strong and who is more relaxing.
- Pros: Convenient
- Cons: cant always get an appointment with the requested person
Don't Let This Happen to YOU!

The experience I had at The Massage Place was so embarrassing that I put off writing this review for over 2 months. But I really need to share what happened to me so that you're forewarned.
First, I was lying face down when the massage therapist started working on me. The pressure was so light that I had to keep telling her to use more pressure - but when I finally turned over to lie on my back, I discovered the massage therapist was a guy! He obviously had no massage training and the session felt more like a very lazy rub-down.
Next, my one hour session came to an end before he had a chance to work on my left side - so I was lopsided. I had to pay for an extra 1/2 hour just so I could get balanced! I should have said something right then and there, but since I really needed to relax, I decided to let it go and not get stressed out.
Finally, he finished working my left side before the extra 1/2 hour was up, so he spent the last 10 minutes of the session rubbing and stroking my inner thighs very inappropriately!!! I really tried to stay calm and pretend that it wasn't anything to worry about, but I was so uncomfortable that I could barely breath. I almost hoped that he would do something inappropriate so I could punch him in the face and demand a refund!
Well it was my mistake for not standing up for myself. I was so stunned by the experience, I didn't say anything, and left. Don't let this happen to you!
Gravette is the one!
by kronka
I've been getting massages every two weeks now and been looking for the one that will best fit my needs. Went to this place today and as soon as Gravette layed her hands on me, I knew this will be my massage therapist from now on. I explained to her at the beginning what my concerns were and she really worked on those areas, plus she has an incredibly relaxing touch that made me fall asleep right away. I've tried 2 other people there but her energy is very calming and a match for me. I'll be back soon! Thank you!
- Pros: owner - very nice person; Gravette, price
- Cons: parking
Worst By Far Receptionists needs to readjust her additude

I called in the middle of the week to get my husband a birthday massage. We came 10' late and I called ahead and explained that I was having problems with my babysitter. Of course it was my fault that the sitter was late. The receptionsist did not seem to understand. And the massage was terrible and felt like it was rushed. No focus was made for my feet and this is where I had requested the work be done. The receptionist was not very nice and told me I could speak to the owner, but I was so upset I just let it go. I do not think I will go back there again if I will be treated like that. And the rooms were freezing cold to top that all off!!,
