Boffo color and cut

I am a long-time customer and would follow her anywhere. She listens to what is bothering me about my hair on any given day. My curly hair wants to be frizzy and is a real challenge. She understands how my hair works. I recommend her for the best haircuts and color. People actually stop me and ask about my hair color and want to know who and where my stylist is. Consistency is hard to find in a stylist, but Alison is top of the class. Before I met Alison, it used to take me 3 days to adjust to every hair cut. Now, I never worry and have fun at the salon. If you go early, the parking isn't an issue. But for my money, it's worth it in any case ...after all it's only 3 bucks and a little tiny inconvenience for a great "do"!

• Pros: Not your mother's stylist
• Cons: No matter what your age, not your mother's salon, either, so don't bring her along.

I LOVE MY HAIR !!!!!

I love my hair! I moved to L.A. and needed a great hairstylist. The ones I had been going to did not give me what I wanted. It seems alot of stylist are lazy, and like to do particial hilights, leaving the back of my hair dark. I saw a girl with beautiful even hilights, and she said Alison Harper at Ellouise Salon did her hair, and had been her stylist for years. I decided to give her a try. Alison gave me her full attention,and did not skimp on my highlights putting alot of foils in my hair. She used 2 different colors of blonde. Alison gave me a great haircut with layers adding volume and fullness to my hair. She never passed me off to an assistant, I really felt special. When I left her chair I can honestly say my hair looked just like the magazine picture I brought in. This girl is fantastic I highly reccomend her. I love my hair!

Finally, a stylist I can trust!

Getting my hair done used to cause me anxiety because I never knew how the cut would turn out, and I rarely felt that I was really being listened to and understood by the stylist.

When I found Alison several years ago, I knew I'd found my stylist for life. She does a great job every time - I always get compliments on my hair. She is not only highly skilled and extremely knowledgable, but also really listens to what I want and doesn't try to push me into something that isn't me. She helped me discover the style that was right for me, for which I will be eternally grateful!

On top of that, Alison is very warm and down to earth, and takes a genuine interest in her clients. I felt so comfortable with her that I recommended her to my mom, and now half the women in my family see her. I highly recommend her!

Alison does great hair!!!

I have been a customer of Alison's for over 10 years now. She turned me from a mousy brunette to a hot blond. She is great at everything but she is an especially talented colorist. As a busy person I especially love that I can get in to see her as early as 6 am on some days. Wow! How is that for service? The salon is nice and a fun and the prices are right. I highly recommend Alison.

Great color and style

I have been seeing Alison as my Stylist since 1995. She has always listened to what I wanted to try and gave great insight as to how it will look on me. If I am ever unsure she is always there to listen and try something else.
