Tips for Arnie Morton's of Chicago

Most disgusting lunch PERIOD. Morton's should be embarrased by the food they are serving for lunch. I first tried the $19 "prime-rib" french dip. What I got could barely pass for steak-ums that were glued to the plate by a mass of cheese at least equal to that of the so-called meat. I returned my meal for a burger, which had the consistency of a pate. That was also overly smothered with cheese, then toppped with bacon and onions boiled in butter. I enjoy a touch of grease on occasion and certainly didn't go expecting a low-cal meal, but Morton's lunch was just plain DISGUSTING. I would have honestly preferred Arby's. At least the service was decent.

USDA prime beef, elegant tableside service and mammoth martinis.. In Short
With its dark wood details, celebrity photos and tuxedo-clad waiters, this upscale steakhouse chain has the air of a posh men's club. Service is professional and discreet, with bartenders making a mean martini. Dinners beginwith a waiter-driven cart laden with fresh vegetables, live lobster and cuts of steak; customers choose from porterhouse, rib-eye, bone-in prime rib and more. Side dishes are traditional and enormous, from baked potatoes and creamed spinach to steamed broccoli with hollandaise.
