Unimpressed!

My husband (also a SouthBay native), children and I have watched our quant beach town be taken over by over-priced buisnesses setting up shop and taking advantage of the locals in the area. Our once unique town has been saturated with a yuppy ridden, hollywood-ized feel. I went to "Lavish" where out of sheer desperation I followed an acquaintances suggestion for a quick color touchup. This salon is NOT for those who care about preserving the charm of this city! It has an heavy aura of snobbery and the prices are outrageous. My color came out just o.k. That along with the service were nothing to write home about. I can definitely achieve that look elsewhere for less money. I wouldn't recommend to any of my friends, nor would I return!

Gorgeous Results!!

To anyone who has recently moved here to LA:

I moved here about 3 years ago and was looking for a place that had the qualities of what I had back in the Midwest? quality, products, and people. If you are the same then look no further than LAVISH!! They really work as a team to make sure that you not only have a great experience but that all of your needs are met. Each time I leave I feel like a refreshed now women with my gorgeous hair. I get highlights and a cut and am super picky, but I can confidently tell you that you will be just as happy with your results. I highly recommend going to lavish!

Love my Lavish!

I couldn't be happier with Lavish! I have been going to Sarah (the owner) for years, and have been going to Lavish since it opened. I am very particular about my hair, and there is no other person or place I trust as much as I trust Sarah and her team at Lavish. The location is amazing and relaxing... the perfect place to get your hair done and watch the sunset with a great group of women! The atmosphere is inviting, friendly, and above all fun! I always know that I am being taken care of, and my hair needs are being met. And most importantly, when I walk out of Lavish I know my hair is looking its best. My hair has never been healthier! I would recommend Lavish to anyone and everyone looking for a salon in the beach area.
