BLOW (n) Away. I am so used to going to high priced hair salons...and then I found the Henri Salon: a modern boutique salon and spa tucked away in Westwood. And then I met Zara with her magic wand which doubles as a blowdryer. And within the next hour my hair was transformed into a lucious mane fit for a princess. Zara really rocks! She is fun and gives amazing color too!!

Ruined Hair, Would Not Take Responsibility. Went twice, got nice highlights. Third time, asked for the same thing. This time, same employee in crazy mood: facebooking while working on me, sharing very private info about boss, leaving treatment on too long, then realizing too late. Also, this time, without warning me, did not give highlights: rather, 'lifted' - bleached - whole top of head! And top of head was reddish instead of ash blonde like rest of head. Assured me just to wait, color fades, it would be fine. I waited. It wasn't fine. At all. Called to make appointment for him to fix it, told I would be charged. Argued till I was not charged. This time he just put some toner on it and gave me a 'free' blowout I didn't ask for and didn't want. Said, again: wait. It will be fine. I waited for weeks. The toner wore off quickly, the red came back, and now new problem: roots growing in made strong, clear, dark line against bleached/toned part - with real highlights it's not that way. Called, was told once again that I'd have to pay. Asked to come in, actually show it to owner. Owner refused to take responsibility, fix in any way, cited my 'waiting' as the problem, and the 'free blowout' as compensation for totally ruining my hair. a) Didn't get what I asked for. b) Got a lot of what I didn't ask for. c) Cost: with tips, $140. Cost to get it fixed at better place: much more than that.

Chris@Henri Salon Wow! Wow! Wow!. I just have to tell everyone how fantastic and Iucky I am and feel to have found Chris. I am a slave to my hair. I always have been and I love having great hair and getting compliments and Chris not only does a great haircut and great color and by the way his hands while he's shampooing is worth every penny . and i cant forget his Blow-out. Believe me I feel like a walking billboard for Chris. People stop me all the time about my hair. And the last plus, he is so reasonable. I feel a little possesive of him but i have to share it with you all.

Best Haircut Ever - Ask for Chris. Hair is a very sensitive issue for us women. It is our greatest accessory and essential in our overall confidence and world peace. So, it is key to find that one person who can change your life, by changing the life of your hair. That person is Chris :)

Not only is he an extreme pleasure to be around (genuinely good, amazingly sweet human being), but he actually loves and cares about what he does. He actually listens more than any other stylist I've ever had, and does EXACTLY what you ask of him and more.

He does his work with such finesse, as if he were creating a piece of fine art. He is passionate about his craft, and is energetic, yet gentle. From his presence to his head massage, and from cut to color, Chris is one of the best out there. A true find.

Great Hair Studio. I recently moved to the Westwood area and have been looking for a great hairstylist.. My boyfriend found Chris at Henri Salon and recommended I go to him. I had hair down to my waist that I wanted to donate and would not go to just anyone to cut it all off. I went in and told him after he cut off the ponytail that he could do what he wanted with it.. I'm so glad i did because he was amazing! He knew just what to do with my hair and I received so many compliments from friends and co-workers who though I was crazy for cutting it all off in the first place. He really listens to what you want or if you want to try something new he knows how to tailor a look to your face and personality. Love him and will for sure be back!.

Yaleny is a great Stylist. I have been having Yaleny cut my hair for over a year and love it each time. She even has started giving my boyfriend a hair cut he loves her also. She is great!!!! :) Her attention to detail is fantastic never a hair out of place and she takes her time. She pays attention to the client in front of her. She is personable and very witty. Definitely make an appointment you won't be disappointed. Thanks Yaleny we love your work.

Yaleny is the best stylist ever!. I've been going to Yaleny Valdes, who has styled many celebrities, for years and she is the most amazing stylist ever! I am from Chicago, and I had a great stylist there. But, when I moved to LA, I needed someone new. I am a brunette and I went to this salon, which a friend recommended. The stylist there bleached out my hair in an effort to create "highlights" and I ended up with white stripes. I was devastated! I then went to Yaleny, who was funny, patient, and so detail-oriented! She had to do a process which took a few hours, but in the end, I had beautiful, shiny, dark hair with subtle highlights and no split ends! Ever since then, I've been going to Yaleny and have sent all my friends there.

If you want a stylist who is so empowering, kind, funny, sassy, and most of all, GOOD at what she does, definitely make an appointment with Yaleny!

West Coast Hair Guru - Chris Manolo. I have been going to Chris Manolo for more than 3 years. He creates the most beautiful colors and has accomplished gorgeous highlights on my hair. I get loads of compliments and have sent tons of people to him. If you're looking to obtain a rich color or a great haircut, CHRIS is your guy!!!

Henri Salon- GO SEE CHRIS. I've been seeing Chris now for about 5 years. He is amazing! The salon is great with a friendly staff, great products, and fairly easy parking (in addition to the street parking around the area, they also validate for a lot down the street).

Chris actually listens to what you want and DOES IT better than you expected. His enthusiasm, craftsmanship, and passion are exactly what you want out of a stylist. I love the color he does to my hair. I get compliments all the time and I've sent many people his way.

Highly recommended.

BEST HAIR STYLIST/COLORIST IN LOS ANGELES!!!!!. have been a client of Chris Manolache for over 10 years and refuse to let anyone but Chris, work on my hair. His training combined with his passion and artistic talent always ensure beautifully intricate cuts, vibrant colors and highlights that put the the 'celebrity stylists' to shame. However, his prices are reasonable and well worth every penny.

He is a hidden gem in Westwood and highly recommend his services if you are looking for the best of the best! Romanian-born, his enthusiasm may be overwhelming but highly misconstrued. This man has a genuine love and passion for his work towards making you (women and men) look and feel beautiful!

When work relocated me to the midwest, I would fly back to make my hair appointments. I am constantly being complimented on my hair and have Chris to thank. Before meeting Chris, I had years of hair nightmares....hair breakage, ghastly highlights and unflattering cuts- you name it, I've had it. Chris fixed all of this and then some!!

My hair (Asian hair) is difficult in nature to color/highlight/color correct because of the brassy red undertones but Chris is a specialist in this area...basically a sepcialist in all hair. The more difficult the better...there is nothing this man can't do! He is a genius with color and cuts.

You will love his energy and his ability to comprehend what you are looking for. "One inch trim" means exactly that...one inch. Nothing more, nothing less. Words can not express how highly I recommend Chris Manolache and encourage you to give him the opportunity to change your life. You have nothing to lose but that outdated haircut and color you're walking around with!

He is, hands down- the best stylist/colorist you will find!
