The Best Orchids and Floral Design!

The owner and staff are so helpful. The work is inventive, stylish, with quality orchids and flowers. They can answer any question I have about how to take care of the orchid. The cut flowers are beautiful, and last. Whats really the best part is that I can know I have a personal florist that I can call and have a bundle of anything waiting for me the next day for the house. The candles are THE best gift, everyone is always blown away by the surprise twist they came up with. So clever. Cant say enough love it, love it.

Best Botanicals and Design you'll get ever!

Pollen (Craig) provided the flowers for all of my wedding party and achieved the most phenomenal end result and craftsmanship I've ever seen! Timely and beautiful, with great service and a warm smile!

I would say no matter what your special occasion is, do it the justice of Pollen!

More than a flower shop.

First and foremost, you must know dear reader of this review, that I am not very well versed on the likes of plants or flowers. I always walk into a flower shop with the air of a tourist who just can't speak the language or read the signs. That being said, Pollen is a different kind of store. When I first happened upon this place, I wasn't exactly sure what I'd be in for. When entering the run of the mill flower or plant store, I'm usually greeted by employees who know nothing about what they are selling. That isn't the case with this lovely place.

I was on the hunt for a unique Mother's Day present. I wanted to give something simple, classic, yet different, and unexpected. I found exactly what I was seeking at Pollen. The owner, Craig, was there. This man is the nicest, most informed, and articulate man....and more-so knows his stuff. He walked me through a series of questions about the person the gift was for, my budget, and then showed me a variety of selections of what his store has to offer. He put together a very beautiful display, putting to work his own artistic ability into the gift, and charged a very reasonable price.

Besides his helpful nature, the store has a very clean welcoming atmosphere. There was mellow music playing which accented the decor and presentation of the store's environment. He even showed me the small green house he has in the back of the store. What other flower shop has that?

He informed me they specialize in different types of orchids. He also showed me the other products they sell. One of which were soy candles which gave off a nice fragrance and the melted soy wax, he said, is used as a lotion for the skin.

I was extremely impressed upon my first visit and have since returned to the studio. There's always a welcoming friendly environment. It is more a studio than a shop and Craig is definitely fit to curate this fantastic place. I'd recommend anyone check this place out.

inventive and elegant floral design and landscaping

I am currently in the midst of a major landscape project with Craig Powell of Pollen and have also seen many examples of his floral design. His floral arrangements are truly beautiful and reasonably priced. They are as far as you can get from the run-of- the mill chain-florist design. His store has many unique, reasonably-priced gifts, and he always has a few beautiful arrangements in his case for sale when you need a last-minute hostess gift.

My experience with Craig on my landscape project is that he is very passionate about his work and is overflowing with creative ideas. He has closely supervised the crews and insisted on changes when things weren't right. I am really looking forward to enjoying the finished product.
