Dazzling junior fashions (like literally, the clothes just dazzle with color) hidden inside the Sawtelle Place shopping plaza.. Loud dance music blares, fuschia and soft pink bounce off the walls and effervescently patterned fashions furnish every inch of shelf space. Yes, folks, this is where young Japanese women come to dress up like real-life Barbie dolls. Leopard print dresses, cheery cherry totes, colorful velour tracksuits and stretchy denim abound, as does a sizeable selection of trendy baubles and accessories. Granted this ain't no real fashion house, but the salesepeople are kind and the prices are even kinder.
