Mmmmm, Yum. No wonder there's a line. Yep, Friday, Saturday night there's usually a line to get served. But its worth the wait and they have a full staff so the line goes fast. You need that little bit of extra time to choose/taste from a wide array of super delicious flavors. Plus they let your dog stand in line with you.

Best Gelato in LA. There is a reason I refuse to move any further east than my West Hollywood neighborhood. Not because I think that east = evil, not because it is far too far from work, but because if I were any closer to Pazzo Gelato, I would never fit into my skinny jeans ever again. With unique flavors like blueberry white chocolate, espresso mint pistachio and hazelnut raspberry, the Silver Lake gelateria always has something new and different to offer its loyal following. The texture of the gelato is flawless - creamy, yet somehow light on the tongue. It's impossible not to order two scoops. And it's impossible not to finish the entire bowl, and then still kind of want more.

Family-owned shop near Sunset Junction serves up yummy ices.. Check your guilt at the door. In addition to being better for you than traditional ice cream, this gelato has a conscience. Milk-based gelato is made from local, hormone-free milk and seasonal produce (mostly organic) from the local farmers market. The corn-based gelato cups are even biodegradable (as if you’re not going to opt for a homemade waffle cone). Small batches of fresh flavors are whipped up on-site every morning, including temptations like Madagascar vanilla, limoncello, crème fraiche, peanut butter and fudge, Guinness and chocolate hazelnut. There’s also non-dairy sorbetto and sugar-free options. In addition to loose-leaf tea and Intelligentsia coffee, you’ll find smoothies, root beer floats, shakes and malts, plus baked goods like Italian cookies, mini chocolate molten cakes and, of course, biscotti. Seating inside is limited to a few tables adjacent to a wall of rotating art, but there are ample sidewalk tables beneath the striped awning outside.

AWESOME!!!!. Great flavors that are always changing. Best on this side of town.

Can be crowded at night, meaning there can be a bit of a wait.

Best gelato outside of Italy. It even rivals my favorite gelateria in Rome...amazing flavors, superb quality and friendly staff. It really doesn't get any better than Pazzo. Go any time, but if you go really late be prepared for some of the flavors to be sold out. It's so delicious that their home-made goodness is occasionally depleted by the late-night run. Nonetheless, it's still where I would choose to go because even if they're out of my favorite flavor, they have at least 10 others that are equally as tasty.

Great, great gelato!. I love this place - I don't know if I've ever had better gelato outside of Italy. Their bacio is pretty damn perfect.
