In Short – A navy awning shades the restaurant's "front porch," where Westwiders sip cappuccinos amid wicker chairs, ceiling fans and a '60s-rock soundtrack. Inside, exposed brick and vintage Malibu photos surround the booths. Patrons order at counter from a menu of fancy cheeseburgers, bacon-wrapped hot dogs with swiss and horseradish cream; tuna melts; BLTs with avocado; and chopped, Caesar or Cobb salads. Frozen yogurt faves are pistachio and Belgian chocolate; pastries come from La Brea Bakery. Specialty teas include tropical bliss and Zen vanilla.
Nice charm, bad food.

Although the decor and appearance are very charming, the food is far from satisfying. I went there this morning for the first time for breakfast and it was easily some of the greasiest food I've ever eaten. The staff was nice, the place was clean and comfortable, but the food was bad and I won't be going again.
