Living in West Los Angeles for 18 years has given me enough experience with hair salons to write a book. I have been to the big Allure rated 40 chair high-end salons on La Brea to the quainter salons along Abbot Kinney to know a good stylist when I see them. After seeing the results from my friend’s hair getting the Japanese Thermal Straightening, I was inquisitive to get the same sleek and beautiful results to my hair. When walking my dog I coincidently walked into Jennifer Carson's salon and immediately fell in love her space and work. She has been a stylist for fifteen years and is just as bubbly and energetic as though you were her first client. Her salon has an amazing energy with simplistic style and architecture with a Zen ambiance to match. She set up a free consultation where she examined my hair and informed me on the whole process of the Japanese Thermal Straightening as well as instructions to care for my hair after the straightening. I have never been so impressed by any stylist before. Jennifer was so personable and meticulous with my hair that it was pleasure sitting in her styling chair. I emerged after four hours feeling like a model with a new persona and outlook on life. My hair has never looked better and my self-esteem has never been higher. The Thermal Straightening was the best thing I ever did for myself because it made more hair sexier and 100% more manageable. I have gotten many compliments and have referred many people to Salon ámba whom have all been just as pleased and satisfied as I am.
