In Short
A spiral copper patina staircase descends into a courtyard oasis, where the sleek bar exudes a loungy vibe. In the elegant white, mustard, and wood-toned dining room, star power players like Madonna and Frank Gehry have been spotted behind the VIP booths' gossamer purple curtains. The certified kosher kitchen and sushi bar feature seasonal Japanese sashii, robata and kushi skewers, and seasonal rolls like white truffle with yuzu-glazed black cod. In-house dry-aged prime steaks are cooked in an 1,800-degree grill.

Large party of family, all with different food needs kosher-wise. Loved the delmonico special, as did the others who ordered it. Each was cooked to the exact degree of choice. Wonderful sauteed spinach, blase potatoes (both pesto & garlic), and found the onion rings both on my plate and in the table order to be dry/crumbling overall (possibly too much coating & not enough onion), and on my plate, not even warm. Delmonicos were luscious: hugely thick, beautifully aged & seasoned. Am glad I asked for sauce on the side - not needed. Everyone in our party was absolutely delighted otherwise!

I think the concept of a swanky kosher steak house is great, but Prime Grill falls VERY short of the mark of a good restaurant -- especially at the prices they command. We started out with sushi appetizers which were very expensive but lacked in flavor and quality. My friend got the steak with he did not like at all, and I had the halibut, which was OK, but not memorable by any means. Our waiter was inattentive, inexperienced and completely useless in helping us make any decisions. I won't be going back there anytime soon, if ever.

The food is horrible. And I mean horrible. From beginning to end. And we tried alot of dishes. First off kosher food does taste good. I have had many fabulous feasts! They just choose not to care about flavor and contradict themselves with their marketing ploy by serving some questionable combinations on their menu noticed by my jewish and non jewish friends. Steak particularly chewy. In theory it is a very good idea, in reality they couldn't or chose not to pull it off. Service is slow & uninformed. Location ok.
