Editorial Review for Tatou Supper Club – by Andrew Rosenblum
In Short
"Hell's Kitchen" winner Michael Wray has added a Latin tinge to the restaurant's corporate Wokcano menu, including favorites like sliced filet mignon, pan-seared striped bass, and a honey-walnut dish that the staff lovingly refers to as "shrimp crack." The restaurant also holds jaw-dropping athletic dance battles. The main dance floor features looming palm trees and a giant Doric column. As dancers bounce to Top 40 and salsa, ubiquitous plasma screens display music videos, and scantily-clad women perform on elevated stages.

So my friends and I like everyone else, wanted to try somewhere new besides in hollywood. She got recommended to Tatou. So let's start off with a 3 line wait to get in ( that took around 15-20 mins). To top it off even more the cover charge was 20 bucks. To even hypen the moment there was hardly any ventilation on the dance floor in the club. I've never sweated so much on a dance floor before; therefore, that's how dry it was in there. The drinks of course were pretty expensive. Even to quench my thirst, water bottle was 5 dollars so I figured for that price, might as well get a drink. The crowd was eh.. not really my style, but some of the guys.. wow freakin' gross. I suppose I've never really see how guys act in a club that way before. Trying to cop a feel and take underskirt pictures so ladies beware. Or even take advantage of drunk girls for that matter. The pro of the club would pretty much be the DJ. He surely knew how to bring good beats to the club.
Pros: DJ & Location
Cons: Cover, Crowd, & Poor dance floor ventilation.

I'm not much into the club scene, but when some of my friends came to L.A. from out of town, I decided to give Tatou a shot. I had heard about the club and I wanted a change from the Hollywood scene. I know I made the right choice as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. The view of Downtown is awesome! The place is huge and the palm trees inside are a nice touch. Compared to the other clubs I've been to you get the most for your buck at this place. The entrance fee is what you would expect to pay at a club but the table service is a real bargain. Trust me, Tatou has the best deals on table service anywhere in town. If you're looking for the experience of a hip club in a panoramic setting, I highly recommend this place.
Pros: Price, location, location, location!
Cons: Long line if you get there late
