Tucked inside Hye Plaza in the heart of Little Armenia is this modest gem where in-the-know chowhounds go for Middle Eastern comfort food. While the decor is a mere afterthought--pale pink walls, faded seat covers and '80s era black lacquer chairs--the food is anything but. Families, foodies and locals flock here knowing that inside the compact kitchen is an Armenian grandmother dutifully crafting old country dishes like yogurt-covered beef kebabs, dolmas (grape leaves) and the addictively spicy-sweet muhammara, the restaurant's secret weapon made from crushed walnuts, red peppers and…
Very Nice Place - Great Food and Entertainment
by citylover2 at Citysearch
This place is fun to go. The food is very generous and good. The entertainment is fun. You can sit and enjoy your dinner and watch others dancing or when the Belly Dancers start performinng. The service is great. here is a flat charge- which includes a wonderful Armenian Style dinner - where everything is on the table with good portions or you can order from the menu. We really enjoyed the place and the price is great in comparison to other restaurants with entertainment.
- Pros: Fun to go there! You can dance all night!!!
YUM

Delicious, tasty food that is not expensive. Yes, the decor is not so great (not a place to impress a date), but the food is awesome. No corkage fee either :) Love, love it. We love to go with friends & order many of the appetiser dishes to share. Wish I was there right now....
- Pros: DELICIOUS!
- Cons: Decor is not so great...
