I have walked by this dinner spot several times while heading to stores on Melrose or Weho bars/restaurants. I always thought it looked trendy and chic and might be a fun place to go for gourmet food and an enjoyable evening out. Very wrong! At the time I checked the rating it was 4/5 stars and unfortunately I did not stop to realize all of the most current reviews were very low 1/5 and the 5/5 stars were all posted 2+ years ago. The service was amateur, uninformed, very slow and disorganized. The food and drinks were average at best and not worth the price. By the time the main course finally arrived I had lost my appetite. One good thing came of this, I learned my lesson. Do not just trust the star rating and Always Always read the reviews written within the last year!

I have eaten at Murano at least 8 or so times since it opened. I have always enjoyed my food and the experience. Friends from out of town love it also because it's hip but not so trendy that you can't get a table. I love the risotto fries, the whitefish, the pizza bianca and the agnolloti the best! Giving it a 4 instead of five because the service can be fabulous or just OK on occasion.

i went here the one time i was in west hollywood. it is a nice atmosphere at first but i am unhappy with the service and the food. after a while i figured to never ever go back for these reasons and how the managers talked to my friend after a complaint.
