great school , definity worth the tuitiion, thanks to cindy she got me a gig new years eve made back 95 % of the tuition in one shift , thanks to lou I as hired today as a ull time bartender and saddleranch in hollywood , absolutely the best investment . p.s if you are lazy, and unmotivated you probuly should go cause this school will get u off your lazy ass- and get a great bartending job !!! fun and really worth it

This school is the real deal. It's set up just like a bar an. I moved to LA and started this school the first week I got here as a recommendation from 2 working bartenders I met and it was an amazing recommendation. Where else can you spend 2 weeks and leave with a diploma, skill set and career?

This school is the real deal. It's set up just like a bar and teaches you everything from the basics to the most complicated cocktails. Lou teaches in the most easy to understand way, and makes the classes fun. I got hired at 2 jobs the day after I graduated.

First off, Lou is the best bartender to ever live...seriously, this dude knows everything about liquor, beer, wine, and the entire realm of bartending. He will teach you how to increase your precision, speed, accuracy and income...Once he gives you these tools, its up to you to put them to use and become a $$$ making bartender. Listen to him, he has worked at some of the most famous bars/clubs in the world.

Cindy is very helpful and knowledgeable as well...Get done with the course and she is your best friend, working for you and helping you to find the job that you want. She won't sugar coat anything, she will waste no time. She knows the industry, and most of the people who are going to be interviewing you. Cindy is a major asset.

If you are not motivated or determined to succeed as a bartender in this town, Lou and Cindy will not interview for you to get you hired. It is ultimately up to you. But they will give you every tool you need to get the job.

This school is repulsive.. I am one of the girls that Lou harrased and caused to cry more than ones. Lou and Cindy's unprofessionalism is repulsive. Lou is in his best behaviour when he knows that someone is there to check out the class, but once you have paid and signed that contract all hell breaks lose. He is very violant, condescending, stubborn, and disrespectful. You never know when his madness will trigger. I almost want to say he's bipolar, but I'm not a doctor.. Cindy is worth nothing because she is only there to be manipulated by Lou, and Lou's illogical orders is all that matters. My best advise to everyone is to do your research before you choose a school. I gurantee that if you do your research, you will find that this is the worst school to attend in Southern California.

Oh yeah.. and they also call their "school" Bartenders Training Institute.. so look out for those fake reviews out there

Cannot recommend. As if the job market wasn't tough enough you have schools like this artificially puffing up their status to appear much more than they are. Having gone through their entire program and spoken to other graduates, I can say this. Will you get trained as a bartender? Yes, as long as you can tolerate extreme amounts of verbal cruelty and racism from the instructor Lou. I recall seeing a girl brought to tears and running out of class. Lou even managed to bring a US marine to his knees because of his continued insults! Will you develop the skills needed to compete in this downed economy? Perhaps, but don't count on the school putting you where you need to go after graduation. The job placement there is a farce and you'd be better off pounding the pavement on your own than relying on them to help you. Cindy is completely overworked, has no assistance, and Lou needs to retire, pass the torch, and move on. There are other, more professional, and kinder places you can blow 500$ on than Bartenders Training Institute.

I would not recommend this school to anyone. I regret wasting my time there.

i am now the best bartender in hollywood. I was so scared to bartend but thanks to the excellent fun class and really good teacher louis and the support I am employed gainfullly as a bartender I highly reccomend this as the absolute best bartending school anywhere

THE BEST BARTENDING SCHOOL IN CALIFORNIA. My freind lisa and I wanted to learn bartending we did research and sat in on a free class here at bartenders trainining institute in north hollywood and we were impressed with the teacher and the students that were in class told us how cool the school was and how cind was getting them jobs and lou was a awesome teacher - we got behind the bar and we parked in the free parking lot everyone was great than we checked out some bartending school in korea town(the parking cost 3 bucks) the school was empty the teacher was unavailable- we left , went to the south bay too far drive owner of school seemed to pressure us before we came in- we decided to go to bartendenrs training institute - it wads a great decision and we both got hired as bartender and have only great things to say about this exceptional bartending school

the best teacher you will ever have the most fun you will ever have. I enjoyed the class and the teacher was great !! the other students were very friendly and I got a job right after i graduated It took me 4 week to complete the class and I love bartending because bartending is a greta paying job and i love it

LOUIS WILL MAKE YOU A REAL BARTENDER- AND REAL BARTENDERS BEST KNOW HOW TO BARTEND. I REALLY DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT - BUT I REALLY LOVED THE SCHOOL AND LOVE THE PEOPLE I LIKE BARTENDING ALOT WISH I HAD A BOSS LIKE LOUIS AND CINDY IS SO HELPFUL what a wonderful program got ajob right away

AWESOME CLASS- REALLY FUN !!. I sat in on many free classes for bartending none was as fun amd real as this one here so I enrolled- great cause i have no exp. whatsoever. and i learn so much behind the bar.
