Newport Beach Tax Pro - Was referred to them by one of my co-workers and couldn't be more pleased. We just moved to Newport Beach and needed a new tax person. Very personable and pleasant to deal with.

- We live in Newport Bluffs. They are conveniently located for us (near the fairgrounds) and provided excellent service in a professional office. Our fee was slightly higher than what we paid our former tax professional and absolutely worth it.

Degraded over the years. This place was good when they started. Not anymore..their dosas taste like paper. The buffet dishes remain the same everyday, the taste too:(

I wish they re-do their buffet recipes and stick to their original standards. I'm probably not going back until then!!

The Best Indian Restaurant in Los Angeles. I was visiting los Angeles for 3 weeks and tried food in several Indianrestaurants and I found Mayura is the best in all respects. food quality is superb , very clean and service really amazing. I am impressed by the variety and authentic taste of the food. I had seven dinners and 6 buffets at Mayura. Unlimited dosas are served with buffet and there are so many choices for different spice levels. Every time when I visited this place I saw good Indian crowd there which is a testimony of the greatness of the place.

Great Restaurant. I love this restaurant. I ate there on Friday, Aug. 29, 8:30 PM. Food was delicious. I highly recommend the chicken tikka masala. The service is very friendly and professional. The prices are cheap, and the portions are huge. I have never written an online restaurant review in my life, but I liked this place so much, that I wanted to share.

southern indian food in a strip mall. mayura claims to specialize in keralan food (southern india) although the menu contains food from various regions of india.

there is a weekend buffet for $11.95, which gives you a variety of dishes that i cannot comment on. see, i did not go for the buffet... my friend did.

i went for the spinach masala dosa - which was a crepe with potatoes inside. there was some crunchiness to the crepe that i enjoyed, especially when dipped into one of the many sauces made of coconut milk. the serving was huge and can be shared with 2 or 3 people.

i also ordered the special kerala chicken biryani. again, the serving was huge. there were a lot of spices in there that made it so flavorful -- cinnamon, cardamon, etc. i enjoyed this dish.

for dessert, we shared a ras malai, which is made of cheese soaked in some milk and flavored with cardamon. i am not partial to indian desserts so i find this just ok. my friend thought that there was too much cardamon.

overall, i liked mayura and my friend and i agreed that we would have to come back and try other dishes.

Mayura- A Restaurant for a Heavenly Meal. Finally , I found out a paradise in Los Angeles. The buffet I had at Mayura on Friday, was soooo good. I never ever had such a great Indian food in Los Angeles. I 've been to almost all Indian restaurants in Los Angeles, but I could never find a great place( I don't mean the decor or ambience), I mean food and service, like Mayura. At least 5 times , someone will come and ask you if you need anything more. I am really impressed with the high energy of the place. Everyone seems to be very cheerful and happy. I don't understand why people write such reviews like just I read( Raj9, shafika or Mohd- seems like deliberately trying to harm the reputation of such a great place). I am so sorry for you people

They carry dishes which suits to the palate of everyone, mild- medium and spicy with such a variety. My in-laws are so happy that they want to go back. The dosas, sambar and rasam, avial and everything great. I wish they open one Mayura in San Deigo.

My Most Favorite Indian Restaurant in Los Angeles. I eat at Mayura at least four times a week since it started. The food is really authentic. The place is very clean and the people are very friendly. It is very hard to believe the reviews written by the so called Raj9 , Shafika and Mohd. I read a review written by the guy Raj9 in another site the same review with an additionaladvice " so don't go to Mayura, Go to Annapurna". Please don't think that all are so silly like you guys. We want good restaurants like Mayura. It is a family run restaurant. This restaurant is very unique in all respects. But people with a feverish mentality, and try to tarnish the reputation of a successful restaurant ,only can write reviews like this. This is the favorite restaurant of all my colleagues too. We love this place. The quality and variety of their food is excellent and they maintain consistency. I wish them all success.

Don't Go.. We went to this place last week . A old lady welcomed us and asked us to take a seat. It took them 20 minutes to get a person come to take our orders and 25 minutes to give us the orders. We ordered biriyanis and curry .The biriyani was watery and it tasted like rice mixed with some kind of ready made sauce. The chicken korma and vegetable curry looked like it was mixed with some left over from afternoon. Anyway, everything was bad and my son started vomitting on the way back home. it was a real waste of our money and time. Please, if you go, try your bad luck!!!

Need Improvement in service and quality of food. We went three times this year. We are happy to see Indian faces in this place but the food quality is very bad. They don?t have the quality people for them. We ordered Mutton Briyani; they gave us only Tomato sauce with rice with few mutton pieces. That?s tomato briyani. We also ordered mutton curry. They used Tomato sauce and mutton piece to make this curry. Mistakenly I ordered for vegetarian curry with chapatti. They gave me chapatti and afternoon?s veg aviyal. No taste at all. This is the worst place I will never go to eat my food again in my life. You can try your better luck.

WORST INDIAN FOOD IN LA!. Sorry, but I tried to like this place. I am Indian and am quite familiar with North and South Indian food, but this place is sooooo very bad. Food quality is awful. Service is terrible. There are no real waiters--just a few Mexican guys cleaning the tables. There is an older woman who greets you at the door, but then you are lucky if you ever see or speak with an employee again. Forget about ordering a drink because you can't find anyone to order from! If you get a glass of water here, consider yourself lucky.

The food is really poor quality. I wanted to like this place and to be fair, I went there twice just to make sure I had not just caught them on a bad day the first time I was there. Both times the food was really bad. Buffet is not even worth any money at all because the food is watery, old-tasting, and greasy--seems like it is yesterday's food reheated. Also , my friend GOT REALLY SICK from eating here--a sure sign there is something wrong with the food.

There are plenty of great Indian restaurants in town. Take my word--avoid Mayura!
