Best painting company I've ever dealt with
by hartkopf
I had my kitchen cabinets refinished just before the holidays. For christmas, the kids got a puppy. A puppy that decided it liked the taste of white french milk-paint. The edges of the island were chewed and scratched up.The company that refinished the cabinets could not match their own finish. The "fix" almost ruined the entire kitchen finish for me. I got some bids from painting companies, and decided to go with Gerard & Company. Their presentation was the most convincing. They seemed to know exactly what they were talking about, they know their stuff. I can't say enough how glad I am that I hired them. The cabinets are beautiful again, and they even helped me find and install pulls and knobs for the doors and drawers. Thanks so much guys.

- Pros: Professional, Neat, Resourceful and Knowledgeable.
- Cons: I wish I had had more work for them. I'll use them again for sure.
My dining room set is beautiful, thank you!

The dining table and chairs I ordered in late July arrived today. The workmanship is perfect, the stain color is excellent, the chairs cushion is very comfortable, and the hand painting on the backrests is masterful - very pleased.
I will look to you for all my future furniture needs.

Excellent Service, Beautiful Selection
by jjbuhl
I saw GB&A's ad in Angeleno magazine a few months ago and went on their website.
I bought a pair of lamps for my livingroom, and a round mirror to go in my entry. They took a day longer than I expected to arrive, but John did call me to tell me that was the case, which was very nice. Once my lamps and mirror arrived, I was more than happy with what I paid good bucks for. The lamps were exactly as Gerard had discribed to me over the phone, and the shades are a candle light silk and they glow beautifully when the lamps are lit.
The mirror was a bit large for the space, but that was my own lack of planning. I ended up using it over the livingroom credenza, and that's where it was made to go all along!
Thanks Gerard, and John, for your help and for your beautiful selections! I've been using citysearch for a long time, my only regret is not having run into you guys earlier!
- Pros: Knowledgeable, Courtious, Helpful
- Cons: None in my experience
