Best Facials and Spa in LA!!!. The Argyle Salon & Spa is beyond amazing!!!! I had heard great things - but I was taken away at how wonderful it truly is. I had the best facial of my life from Lead Esthetician Dana Gillespie, and my face glowed for days. She is so nurturing and educational, and my face has never looked and felt so clean and glowy after I left the spa. Usually I'm pretty red after a facial, but Dana knows how to make my face look perfect. Everyone has been telling me that the Argyle is LA Best Kept Secret - but my Esthetician Dana is as well. I would recommend Dana and the Argyle Salon & Spa as the only place to go in LA!!!!!

Excellent customer service and outstanding food. The Sunset Tower is one of Hollywood's hidden gems. The hotel itself is exquisite and has the most unbelievable staff that makes you feel like a celebrity. The cater to your every need without question. The hotel has the best view of the city, 360 degrees to be exact and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. As if that's not enough, the food is incredible. The sliders and chicken skewers are to die for. Sunset Tower is the perfect local hotspot or great for weekend travelers!

Mauricio's Brazilian Blowout is AMAZING. I am a hairdresser, and I have curly hair, so when I heard about the Brazilian Blowout I was very curious. The best way to test it is obviously to get it done on myself, and all I can say is WOW! My styling time has been reduced dramatically and my hair feels silky and beautiful. I will definitely be returning to Mauricio to take his class so I can give my clients this great service!

Brazilian Blowout by Mauricio Ribeiro. This weekend I was in Las Vegas for the International Beauty Show were I met the wounderful people from the Argyle Salon & Spa, Mauricio, Brittany, Alex, etc. I was a model for the product Brazilian Blowout which will soon be the number one product used in the United States to help reduce frizz,and add shine and a keratin therapy to the hair shaft to also add movement. I absolutely loved the product from start to finish it made my hair feel like no other product before. I would recommend his product for anyone any type of hair texture, any chemical processed hair from color, to perms, to relaxers, and extensions. I was suprised that i could use it on my hair since it is relaxed and has extensions, it made my hair even better. I came back home to my salon and spa in Pittsburgh,PA and they absolutely loved my hair to a point were our salon will be certified with this product by the month of August 2008. If you are questioning the product and don't know if you should get it I say go for it. It is not a product that changes the structure of the hair it just adds a protective keratin film that makes the hair healther all the way around. You will LOVE IT ALL THE WAY AROUND!!!!!! EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE IT!!!!! You have to atleast try it once and I bet you will be satified. Also the aftercare products help the treatment to last longer so you will need to purchase these products so you can get the best out of the treatment and your moneys worth. I also found that even if you don't get the Brazilian Blowout the aftercare shampoo ,conditioners, and hair masque are great just to maintain control of your hair. Thank You so much Mauricio for making me your model. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!SMOOCHES!!!!

LOOKING FOR ON OF THE BEST COLORIST IN TOWN?. As a woman living in L.A. for most of her life, I've gone through "The New Best Colorist" more times then I care to remember. Until now! First let me qualify this by saying that "I DO NOT" fill these reviews out and this is actually my first one! I went to the Argyle Salon based on a friends suggestion, per usual! Not only was I a little hesitant when Derek Louden came to greet me and introduced himself, My own insecurities I guess. He was dressed in cargo shorts, a very hip T-shirt and had more tattoos then I could count. He proceeded to win me over with his very thorough knowledge of hair color and was instantly able to make me feel that he knew exactly what I wanted and this time, I felt like I was going to actually get it! Needless to say two hours later and a lot of laughs, I walked out of the salon with Exactly what I had gone in for. If any of you are doing what I was before, switching from the next best one to the next. I have found him. His name is Derek Louden and he works at the Argyle Salon. He has a new customer for life!

My hair went from hideous to heavenly.... I had been dying my hair black myself for 10 years. I was recently referred to JJ (a colorist) at the Argyle salon and I am so glad I went. JJ is a miracle worker. I came in with my dull brown roots grown out and long black ends. She changed my color to a beautiful rich chocolate brown. I can't thank her enough. I look completely different and I'm not embarrassed of my hair anymore. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Another salon that doesn't treat you right if you aren't a celebrity. These "in" salons come and go and this one will probably not last. From the rude manager to certain hair stylists, they only treat you right if you run in the Hollywood crowd. Expensive from the parking to the haircut. I wouldn't mind paying if they were curteous and treated you like they wanted you to return. UGH!!!

what a heavenly place. The spa is fantastic. Brittney the owner is an absolute delight and will make sure you have the experience of a lifetime. Enjoy a hamman steam and couples massage including a bottle of wine, a private room with jacuzzi tub and showers... just delightful. I have also had my hair done by one of the stylists... shellee maeda... who has the most incredible product for damaged hair. This is just a little Gem in west holllywood... one of the cities best kept secrets.

I Found Hair Heaven!. I am sooo happy after a very sad 2 year break I found my colorist JJ! I first found her at Prive Salon about seven years ago ( I was on a mission to hunt down the woman responsible for Anna Nicole Smith's color) even though I wasn't going to be that light I figured who was responsible for that signature look could do wonders with me! I finally got in to see JJ and after a joyus reunion I left the salon, a huge improvement from her last place, with the gorgeous brilliant sultry blonde I was used to!! I was refered to a new stylist whom I am very excited to come back and try so I can make it one stop shopping! Oh and I almost forgot ,talk about one stop shopping the SPA ! I had a tour and I am definitely in heaven.!! I even was able to get my botox done by Azita, she did a fabulous job I didnt leave looking like I had ran into a hornets nest and after a couple of days I just looked refreshed not embalmed! So I am telling all Argyle Salon and Spa with color by JJ is the best you'll ever experience!!
