Mid-sized kids' boutique serving up cool clothing and unusual toys for miniature Eastsiders.. Kristen Taylor saw a tween-shaped hole in the local boutique scene, filling it in 2006 with this mod shop stocked with hip street wear and brainy toys and gifts for kids 7-14. Top picks include Jean Bourget's straight-legged jeans, Paul Frank gym wear and Julius logo tops, Charlie Rocket's retro-print board shorts, Chaser's turntable tees and a selection of never-worn vintage kids' clothes. Parents can lounge on the big bean bag chair and read magazines while youngsters scope out glow-in-the dark nail polish, funky enamel iron cross pendants, crystal growing kits, sock monkeys and Ugly Dolls. And even if mom's stylistically challenged, the selective clothing picks will assure the wearer looks cool at Sunset Junction and on the playground.
