bad admin, nice gym, nice club, beautiful facilities
Great place to workout. I love coming here! The gym is clean and the staff is friendly. Definitely check it out.
nice gym ruined by limited hours and bad admin.. I originally chose this gym because all the other options in Redondo Beach were over crowded and dirty. After a few weeks though I started to become dissatisfied with the high price, the fact there was no pool, or basketball options, and the limited hours, it closes at 9pm so if you lead a busy work life you may have to choose between dinner and the gym. It also has extremely limited hours on weekends. Any time I had questions about my membership or eventually when I wanted to cancel I was given a royal run-around.
This club sucks. Join this club at your own risk.. owner Michael Manelli has a history of ripping off both customers and employees. There is a good chance you will not get your deposit back or be able to extricate yourself from your membership without pain.. trust me. Read the other reviews.
Working Out Is A Dream Here.
I grew up in Redondo and there has long been a need for a neighborhood gym. Yes, there is a Gold's, Spectrum, 24-HR nearby, but they all lack that personal, "we care" vibe. Riviera Fitness is the answer. The owners and managers are always there and hold you accountable - they know if you have been coming in, or have not.
The facilities are beautiful. You can be on a machine and look out on the hustle and bustle of Riviera Village and see the ocean. Some classes are even offered outside. I know they are pretty cool about giving guest passes - so anyone in Redondo & South Torrance should definitely check it out!
