One of the best sushi.
Some of the best sushi I have had in LA! Totally unexpected as it doesn't have a famous name like Nozawa or Katsuya. The sushi melted in my mouth. Best dishes were halibut sashimi, tuna with salsa, and yellowtail with jalapeno. Highly recommend this place.

Best sushi in LA.
The most amazing sushi place in LA, by far!
Please try the crispy rice with spicy tuna, the sashimis, everything is great!

Astoundingly awesome and as yet undiscovered..
I love this place. The omakase approaches ineffable. The uni-crusted oysters, chu-toro, o-toro, tai with jalapeno and garlic chips, and conch are some of my favorite delights. The dessert omakase is really fabulous too, if you still have an appetite after eating all of that delightful fish. In two visits and 30 dishes at Jinpachi, the only criticism I can muster was the savory egg custard was a bit underseasoned one night but was fine with the addition of soy sauce. Everything else was beyond reproach. Worth the money, even the parking ticket I got outside. This restaurant made me feel high for a week.

Wonderful sushi, desserts, service.
I have adored Jinpachi since it opened - we discovered it walking by one evening and fell in love. Even though we moved to the eastside, we still make the trip over as it is completely worth it. The fish is delightfully fresh, the entrees delicious, and the desserts marvelous - which is rare in a sushi place. The owner's wife is the pastry chef and she is a talent. I recommend the omakase dessert, it is magic on a plate. They are open for lunch (even on Saturday) and the combinations served are an excellent value. Highly recommended!

Elegant West Hollywood sushi spot highlights fresh Japanese ingredients and four generations of tradition..
In Short
This two-story Craftsman-era storefront is graceful and stylish with a mahogany-toned sushi bar, white walls and arching orchids. An elegant staircase highlights a stunning Japanese driftwood sculpture and leads to an intimate balcony flickering with candles. Chef/owner Hirotaka Fujita, fourth-generation sushi chef from Japan, prefers diners to order omakase-style. Sashimi dishes include halibut carpaccio with ginger and yuzu, Scottish salmon with jalapeno, and blue fin tuna. Among cooked items are rock shrimp tempura salad, grilled eggplant with Saikyo miso and black cod with shishito peppers.
