awesome food and great prices. definitely one of my favorite spots to eat - the salads are tasty and large in size. The chicken is very well prepared and my personal favorite is the salmon - WOW it's soooooo good it makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

FRESH FRESH TASTY. Possibly the best chicken of any cafe in LA.. Firstly, to the review below that says "overly greasy pizza", are you kidding me? Who orders pizza from a place like this? They have salmon, chicken, or red meat, with your choice of like 6 different sauces and many sides (obviously the corn is great). Also, salads are full of ingredients and super tasty. It's a new spot but has picked up quickly and is popular casual lunch spot. Just what Westwood needed, a new healthy cafe (like an alternative to Cal Chicken Cafe). The meats are fresh and that's what makes everything delicious. My fav: Cajun Chicken with side of corn and red cabbage slaw.

Jewel in Westwood... Tiny on space but huge on quality and taste. I discovered this little gem when I worked in the neighborhood and have, since, recommended it to whoever works. lives or studies in Westwood. It is one of the only places that is an alternative above fast food joints and under restaurant prices and stuffyness. It is casual and delicious, the food is absolutely fresh and tasty, the corn chowder is one of the best I have ever had, the salmon perfectly cooked and takeout is a breeze for those evenings where you are in store for something healthy but don't want to cook yourself. I have absolutely no idea how the Fresh Corn Grill can get so much food out of this tiny kitchen, nor how the staff navigates between the crowded tables to bring fragrant dishes to your table. I have introduced them to the company I work at and we are now catering our lunches from them. I cannot tell how many compliments they generate from our employees and what a lifesaver this is. I highly recommend this little jewel and can only hope that their success will let them purchase the stores next door to enlarge both their kitchen and their dining room... Otherwise, don't change a thing...

Overly Greasy Pizza. I ventured over to this small Westwood eatery while monumentally hung over on a Sunday afternoon...got ridiculously hammered the night before and ended up crashing on someones floor with my pants down, drowing in my own saliva, but that is a different story. Anyway, I had heard about this place from a couple of girls who said that there were great salads to be had here. Considering the condition I was in, I decided to go for one of their pizzas...the cajun shrimp pizza to be specific. First of all, the shrimp was overly salted or "cajunized" to the point where every couple of bites had to be washed down with a pint of water. Secondly, the amount of grease which poured to the bottom of the plate with each bite was enough to lubricate the engine of a 747 jumbo jet. There was just too much going on on that damn thing. I will say this though. I took the rest of it to go and when I ate it cold, it was phenomenal. So take what you want from this review.

Westwood locals in search of quick, healthful noshes with gourmet twists kick back on wicker chairs. Corn punctuates most dishes like fresh corn chowder, tostada salad with Caribbean black beans, and grilled vegetable bowl over basmati rice with ginger curry sauce. Other specialties include butternut squash soup, Southwestern salad, Cajun grilled chicken sandwich, caprese pasta and smoked salmon pizza.
