I'd stay away from here

I guess this place is "family run", but the puppies don't seem to have enough space. Some of them looked kind of sick. The owners seemed way too anxious to sell, and there weren't any other customers in the store. I don't think I'll go back.
- Pros: none
- Cons: expensive, cramped puppies
Puppies look sick
by Daffodil at Citysearch
I was in this store at the weekend and couldn't believe how expensive these puppies are. And the dogs looked really unhappy. Are they supposed to get exercised? There's a bulldog there who looks really cramped and way too big for the cage it's in. Doesn't look like they take care of the dogs in here. Dogs at the shelters are looked after better than this.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Paying way too much for a dog that could be sick
Yuck!
by Bob Kessler at Citysearch
As proven in extensive studies by the Humane Society, 99.9 % of pet stores purchase dogs from cruel Midwest puppy mills for around $200 and re-sell them to the uninformed public for up to $3,000. Many of the dogs are very very sick -- I recently met a family who'd bought a dog that Puppy & Me told them was totally healthy. The family was soon spending thousands of dollars on their new puppy's health.
The "family-owned" Puppy & Me is making a huge profit, while keeping the breeding mothers suffering in cruel breeding facilities across the country, & foisting a defective product onto unsuspecting families & their children, who are excited about their "healthy" new puppy.
Go to You Tube & take a look at a very enlightening video piece hosted by Charlize Theron, who explains what a puppy mill is and how puppy mills are linked to pet stores like Puppy & Me in Sherman Oaks, CA. It is entitled "Charlize Theron speaks about Puppy Mills".
- Pros: None
- Cons: Front for cruel puppy mills
