Dive Into The Same Island Escape At The New Poolside Location

  • Appetizers & Exotic Cocktails
  • D.J. AudioMoe
  • Located Poolside

Same island escape, new poolside location! The pool scene has spun in a new direction with the relocating of the Trader Vic's Lounge to the resort-like popular poolside setting. Trader Vic's Lounge flow seamlessly onto the patio deck and offers panoramic views of the palm trees nestled next to the world famous Aqua Star Pool. Legendary Trader Vic's General Manager, Chai Rojana graces guests with authentic hospitality while the bartenders capture the perfect cocktails. The new rhythm of D.J. AudioMoe is remixed every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights while the theatrics of the crashing waves mounted on cabana walls - all while kicking back in canopy beds and cabana chaise lounges at sunset- make for magical "dive-in" movies. Authentic appetizers and cocktails are captured in classic Polynesian style at Trader Vic's. No worries, the pool scene keeps it all cool

Editorial Review for Trader Vic's Lounge – by Martha Burr

In Short
The kitschy old Polynesian home of the deadly scorpion bowl moves poolside at the Beverly Hilton hotel. Devoted fans still find tiki touches of Tahitian sculpture and vintage canoes, but the decor is now more tropical-modern, with leather banquettes and chunky wooden bar tables flowing onto the poolside patios umbrellas and cabanas. Late in the week, DJs spins under the stars as surf movies project on the walls. A mixed hotel and youthful crowd gather for legendary tropical drinks, pupu platters and sushi.

Insider Tips

What to Drink

Choose from over 80 tropical cocktails, many blended with choice rums and fresh fruit; some classics are the scorpion bowl for four, the potted parrot, and the classic mai tai.

What to Order

Classic pupu appetizers include crab Rangoon, crispy coco prawns and bbq spareribs. More contemporary sushi offerings are ceviche lobster roll, hamachi carpaccio and ahi poke salad.

Where to Sit

Take advantage of the lounge-y canopy beds and cabana chaises--especially helpful after that second scorpion bowl.

Went with a group of friends and we ordered several dishes and they were all very good. Favorites were the chicken skewers and potstickers. The drinks were good to. I felt the deserts were bland but who goes to Trader Vics for deserts. Very fun sitting out by the pool.

Pros: Tropical Atmosphere & Food

Cons: Deserts

This is a great spot to hang out with friends or coworkers for drinks in the evening. During the summer its nice to be by the pool side. I almost actually felt like I was in Hawaii. We ordered tons of appetizers, my favorite was the sushi, and tons of drinks too ;). Great Mojitos! The staff was super attentive and friendly. I will be back. And parking is only $5 bucks when validated.

Pros: sushi, staff, mojitos
