The unmarked forest green entrance alludes to the exclusive vibe waiting inside the richly decorated lounge. Early in the evening, a smartly dressed dinner-hour crowd enjoys old Victrola favorites while eating steak frites, truffled mac and cheese, and sweet and savory crepes. Around 11pm, the parlor party picks up, as the cocktail-sipping masses start to crowd the overstuffed fainting couches. Slowly, the clothing will lessen and the tempo will thicken as crowds fill the sprawling wood floor in celebration of the DJ's creative beats. Just be forewarned: The guest list is still the rule here, and because the club doesn't work with promoters, it can be hard to attain access. Dinner reservations ensure entry, but they're not automatic.

I come here almost every Thursday. It might be a hassle to get in if you dont know anybody there. but once you get in you can enjoy your self, not have to yell over the sound and get a few drinks that aren't to expensive.

Green door is kind of grim to me...but it is poppin amongst people who like a lounge experience - drink, smoke, chill. That's about it.

Look Good:
Dress code is strictly enforced. Jackets are preferred for men and, sorry Turtle, no tennis shoes.
Know Before You Go:
The front room, which draws upon images of Parisian coffee shops, offers open vents for those interested in authenticating the experience.
Parking:
Green Door shares a valet with Cabana Club, but there's parking in the Arclight garage for those who can fanagle validation.
