I booked an apppointment for SPA week. I am new to the area and find my new spa. I travel alot and love spas, so I know what is average, good and amazing. This place is amazing! I got there early so I could use their facilities. I walked into the spa and the aroma was very relaxing, but yet pleasurable. The staff was very attentive, warm and genuine. They brought me this nice vanilla tea, and I loved the touch of the hot towels. I got to relax by the pool and get some sun before my treatment. They let me know that I could wait in their tranquility garden area before my service. Wow! I loved relaxing on the hammocks on the grassy area. What a treat! When it was time, my massage therapist took me into the villa. I got to relax in their aromatherapy bath for 15 minutes. Boy was that heaven! The jets and the light made me feel so light and relaxed. The therapist then came in and gave me a reflexology treatment. I have never received one before. Wow. My whole body felt so restored just from my feet being massaged. All in all, from the smell, the facilities, the hammocks, the tub, the service, the whole experiece was unforgettable. I am so happy to have found my new oasis!!!
Pros: The bath tub, the hammocks, the service, the experience, free valet parking too!
Cons: Could not find anything wrong.

This is my first negative review EVER!! I feel compelled to comment on the service at this "spa." One woman was intolerably rude to my party (tempted to name drop but won't ---I'll just call her "V"). All our appts. were booked in the morning except 1 in the afternoon because those were the only slots they had available. While we waited for my friend to finish her afternoon treatment, we went swimming and enjoyed the sauna (which was included). The spa hostess had the nerve to ask us if we were planning to stay at the spa all day because she was running short on lockers!! I told her we were just waiting for my friend to complete her afternoon appt. The icing on the cake was when she gave us tons of attitude about the fact that I had booked our party under 1 name as I had done at other spas and have had no problem. She said in a very condescending way that the therapists had to have each of our names "because you wouldn't want your therapist to call you George, if your names was Charles, would you?" I was dumbfounded!!! I offered to help her sort out all our names and so waited next to her desk to assist her. She asked me "is there something you need?" in a bitchy way And I responded, I was going to try to get the names squared away with you. Then she told me i should go in the locker room and start using the facility. I said fine and went to my locker. Five minutes later she follows me into the room and says she needs my help straightening all the names out!!!!! I shook my head at her and told her that was why I waited at her desk in the first place! At this point, I was ticked this lady was ruining my spa trip!! Finally, she apologized and told me that it was the spa's fault for not explaining the name policy to us!! We even bought spa products from these people! I am never going back because I have NEVER had such rude and condescending service at a spa!!! Go to the Ritz in Marina Del Rey if you want to pamper yourself, not this place!
