great food, great service, ridiculous line, horrible experience, not as flavorful tofu, just mediocre side dishes, just mediocre ban chan

Soondubu: for being on the westside it definitely hit the spot. They also provide vegetarian dishes.

Tofu Ya has the creamiest tofu I have ever tasted! It's so silky, it melts in your mouth. You get 6 side dishes and a main dish for only 11.99. Bring a friend to help you with all the food.
Tofu Ya on Sawtelle has the worst customer service. I've been here twice and the second time, we left because the old man who mistakenly thinks he can greet customers yelled at me and a friend of mine for asking how long is the wait. Food is decent, but I'll never dine here again. Dining and having dinner is suppose to be a pleasant experience not a Jerry Springer show and you're the one being on stage! This place was a horrible experience.
I'm a Regular!. I live around the corner and come about once every other week. I usually get the soon tofu & bulgogi combination to share. It's the perfect portion for 2 people and is under $16. I love all the side dishes & you can ask for more of your favs. There are usually long waits but it's worth it.
Great Cheap eats. Staff was very pleasant, food was delicious and plentiful. Ordered galbi combo, this place is highly recommended.
Loooove it!. I love the tofu here! And it's always so busy so you know it's good. Reasonable prices too!!! Beware: it is so popular there might be a wait...
Average soon tofu, convenient location. I went here with my sister for a late lunch. It wasn't too crowded, but there were a lot of customers. Everything was just average - average food, average service, nothing stood out. I have had much better tasting and quality soon tofu in Koreatown. However, Tofu ya isn't all that bad. The food here is typical Korean food, however it seems to be a little more catered to the non-Korean crowd. The soon tofu chigae I ordered lacked flavor and the side dishes (ban chan) were just mediocre. For me, the fact that it is nearby in my neighborhood when I am craving a little Korean (without treking all the way over to Koreatown) is their highest selling point. Korean food on the westside is limited.
Best Soon Dobu on the Westside!!. This place is YUMMY!!! Why drive all the way to K-town (bcd) when there is Tofu Ya!!! This place is awesome and I wish noone else knew about it so there wouldn't be a huge a$$ line when I went!! The Tofu is not as flavorful as some other tofu establishments, but the sides totally make up for it. The sides are the yummiest!! I love the clear noodles and the little fish cake slices! yum!!!!
Editorial Review. Korean-style, tofu-centric cuisine served in a small, clean and casual eatery.
