In Short – Completely revamped since its long tenure as Lush and shorter incarnation as Club 2020, the lone holdover may be regular appearances by '80s cover band Fast Times. Otherwise, DJs spin pulsating Top 40, hip-hop, R&B and rock. The sunken dance floor gets packed with regular people who want to let loose without all the Hollywood hoopla. Around the perimeter, rented booths and two large bars bathe in a rainbow of neon lighting. A 133-inch high-def TV attracts after-work sports fans.

Know Before You Go:
The venue works with promoters on club nights, which take place Thursday through Saturday. There are guest lists in effect on these nights, but the door policy is still fairly liberal.
Happy Hour:
The weekday happy hour takes place from 5pm to 8pm, and includes discounts on specialty cocktails and the limited tapas menu of items such as peach barbecue salmon and "paradise salad."
Look Good:
Even the most relaxed entry policies don't prohibit bottle service, but it's significantly less expensive, with prices starting at $200.

Really Cool Place

The V Lounge is a really cool place to go for a night of fun. The drinks and food are really good. I enjoyed the music and the atmosphere, I will definitely start coming here more now that I have experienced it for myself. This is a good place for a long night of entertainment.

Horrible - Long Line

Horrible, long line.... Oh there are two lines and only one is moving, all the while the power tripping bouncers are stating the club is full. Such bull!

Wouldn't recommend to an enemy!

Best place to party in Santa Monica!

I love going to VLounge. It is by far my favorite place to go out in Santa Monica. I'm not gonna lie, the no cover helps a lot. Their dance floor is awesome, and I especially love DJ Nitelife.

Also, they have great food. I went their last Saturday, and discovered that they have a menu. Love their Nachos!!

  • Pros: No cover, great music, hot bartender!
  • Cons: Occassionally there's a line...

Great place to watch sports and have good food.

I enjoy every time I go. The food is really good. Not like the typical bar food that taste like garbage. I really love the fries. I'm going tonight to watch Game one of the finals
