Amazing Service!!!!!. This past weekend I had a party at V-Lounge, lets just say i had the best time ever. I usually head to hollywood to live it up, but decided to stay around Santa Monica, one of my friends had been there before and told me it was such a blast. I decided to get a table with my friends, they were right we had a blast that night. Santa Monica now finally has a night club that is down the street. The service was great!!!! The cocktail servers were so cute and never did i have to pour my own drink they were always on top of it. The night we went there was a great looking crowd. The music was great, and service again was so great. Thanks for a great night!!

THE V LOUNGE. Here's the thing about the V Lounge. Love the place, love the atmosphere, the entire spot has real potential.

One major flaw though. Unfortunately, management seems intent on hiring the most inept, incompetent, rude waitresses and bottle service girls. I seriously don't even know how they pick them. If it wasn't for them this would be one of LA true hotspots. Tip: fire the girls, and watch the place light up.

Great Place to Dance. Best club scene on the Westside. Great music on Saturday nights, quick entrance (@ least before 10:45pm) and easy access to their bars. Dance floor is awesome.

Best time on the Westside!. So I went there with a bunch of friends (8 girls) on a Saturday nite and we had the best time! The DJ was awesome and the place was slammin! The inside looks like Hollywood or Vegas but without all the attitude. We'll be back for sure.

Excellent for Private Parties. I used the V-lounge for a private party on a Thursday. The staff managed to cater to my special cuisine needs and did a bangup job! There was no problem parking for more than 400 guests, and there were no waiting lines any where. The stage area and the large screen projector allowed us to do our presentations in style. The only negative is that they had not put up the sign yet, so the guests had to find the place by looking at the crowd outside. The dance floor is huge and despite more than 400 people it did not feel crowded.

Great 80's band. I was recently at the V Lounge on a Friday. The best thing about the place was the 80's band. They really got the crowd jumpin'. The club itself isn't much different than how it was before as Lush or 2020. The look is slightly different but the feel is the same.

Friday - 80s Nite. I went there this past Friday night. To my surprise it was 80s night. People were all dressed up in their neon colors, head bands and Madonna gear, but while I wasn't dressed in my 80s get up I still had a great time. A 80s cover band came on to play at 11p and were awesome. The venue itself has a great set up with a large dance floor, VIP tables you can reserve and a back room you can rent for private parties. The crowd was great. Only downfall was the crappy bartender at the front bar who seemed to forget how to make some drinks and the drinks were really weak.

Opening Night. I was there a few weeks ago for the opening night. Crowd outside in line was not bad, but you could tell that there was something good inside. The new look has class. It was packed so exploring was an adventure, but what impressed me most was the Executive Chef coming to our table to serve his tapas style dishes. Chef Brian that starred on Top Chef has put together a very nice menu for the club. There is an art to creating food thats gourmet, but doesn't require a fork, knife, napkin, and table to enjoy. I was impressed with that alone, and you can't really complain about anything when all the servers are hot.

Saturday night dj/crowd is awesome. Ok before you go there make sure you utilize the street parking, since its free after 6pm.... anyway I went the last two saturdays and the dj is awesome. He dj's 80s and up. The girl / guy ratio is pretty good and there are alot of good looking people..

I'd say the average age of the crowd on the saturday night is about 24-28.... Definitely a more mature crowd....not sure if the above poster went on a different night but saturday was good. Drinks were between 8-10 bucks. Cute bartenders......

Best part is that there's no cover. it was really busy their opening night and took me like 20 mins to get in but if u arrive before 10:30pm the wait is pretty fast as I did that last week.

Good drinks, a little too trendy. I like to drink and socialize in a down to earth environment without a huge crowd-- if you do too, this isn't the place.

The drinks are good, I love the chocolate martinis especially. It's a bit too trendy/sceney, but not overwhelmingly so. I have to say everything has tasted pretty good, and it's probably a good place to take someone from out of town to check out SM's nightlife
