Your Guest List Girl. Opera, although been around a while is still a beautiful venue. It's big and got a little something for everyone. Opera is definitely a little easier to get into now but a great place to hit every once in a while nonetheless.

This swanky Hollywood nightclub is as elegantly appointed as its velvet rope is tough. When it's not hosting X-games parties with Travis Barker, Opera is serving up signature drinks like The Fat Lady Sings and The Phantom to a celeb-heavy crowd. Opera is actually one half of two side-by-side nightspots (the rock n' roll side is club Crimson), though the two areas can be combined into one giant space for private parties for 700 of your closest friends.

No Security in the Parking Lot. My cousin was a victim of a hit/run after leaving the club, Sunday night/Monday morning 6/1/09 (2:00 am) in the Opera Night Club parking lot. Anyone that has information regarding the men responsible for this random act of violence please contact the Los Angeles PD and ask for Detective Smalls. He may be reached at 213-972-2915. The car was a TWO door WHITE BMW with Tinted Windows. During the incident the driver's window was broken out. The driver of the vehicle ran over my cousin and left him for dead. AA male and Hispanic female drove away in the car after running him over. Please help to end the violence. He kept repeating the phrase, "This is my city!" The hispanic female was seen earlier with 4 AA males and has a bite mark on her stomach.

Opera Crimson Saturday Night. This is by far one of the hottest places in hollywood on a saturday night. The music is great the crowd is great. The only down side is if you are not on the guest list you probably wont get in. If you want to plan ahead email me at jorgejimenez83@gmail to be on the guest list this and every Saturday night. Girls are free before 11pm and guys are 20 all night. Opera Crimson gets super backed every night and its always a guaranteed good time.

V.I.P. Opera is probably one of the prettier clubs on the inside and out. The line moves fast and there is available street parking and a paid parking lot across the street. Just make sure your name is on the list ;-)

Not all it's cracked up to be. Maybe I'm just not as tolerant as I used to be of this sort of scene :):) If I spend 20$ to park 2 blocks away, wait in a line to get in some where, my expectations are set pretty high. Opera was quite crowded, filled with hipsters and some cool people, but there was certainly a catty vibe felt from the female patrons. Not cool.

The drinks were rather expensive, and not really worth it. I felt like the music was similar to every club I've been to in the same area.

it was just an ok place. went to opera, and remind you its raninng, we got in because of our promoter and its a big place because its crimmsion with opera now i think? not to sure how the place is since it was me and my friends first time going. we waited in line for abt 10 mins till our promoter got us. wen we got in..it was pretty but borning!!!their were many different races and different type of ppl, did not see one cute guy,, but it was an ok atmoshphere..the whole thing was ok..more on the borning side..lets just say its not worth to wait in line at all,, so i felt sorry for the people tha had to wait in th cold and rain,,its not worth to pay either since me and my friends got in for free.its a pretty place and its big. the ppl that are in the club sucked..there are more pretty good looking girls that were in the club then good looking guys wait (rephrase) there were not any good looking guy in there,lol i dunno if it cracks other nights? we went on a sunday for after party grammy thing and it was packed but it was like whatevers?like dont feel bad if you didnt get in this club cuase your not missing anthing..NOTHING..ur not missing anything..and i dont think there selective on ppl who to get in because alot of ppl of different races were in the club,it was alot of everything,,including ugly ppl..remind you me and my friends stayed there for 45mins and my promoter txt me with somthing at kress across the way from opear and we left to make the trip over there..which that was the night of my life,lol jk but if anything opera is just trying to make there place popin like kress so i guess there tryna be selective who to get in but really.the place was just avrage..so its worth goin if you dont wait or pay,cuz this place aint that hot. there are better places then opera..its like i give it a 6 and half rating

awesome for dancing!. This club is a great venue with a awesome crowd. The patio is great for meeting people. The door can be a little rough on the hotter nights? but that?s any decent Hollywood club for you? groups of HOT girls get right in? groups of guys have to get a bottle. I enjoy going on weekdays nights because of the type of people that this venue brings and the amazing girl to guy ratio. The sunken dance floor is fun? as well as the two bars.
