I never had Filipino food before. It was only introduced to me when a Filipino friend invited me here. I didn't know what to expect. I don't have any idea of what it would taste like. I was expecting it to be very spicy like other Asian food. I was so wrong. It was great. My friend ordered a lot, wanting me to taste everything. I loved the paella, it's different from the Spanish paella. It has more flavor. I also loved the fried pork with the special sauce. It was so great. But what surprised me is their halo-halo. It's the best dessert ever. Now, I have another schedule with my friend. He's very excited to bring me again.
