The food was great. And the service was excellent as well. I highly recommend anyone to stop by and experience the Yellow Cow yourself.
the Best Korean BBQ anywhere, hands down.

I've been to this restaurant at least a dozen times, and all i can say is, "I LOVE IT!" Even after changing jobs, I make a trip out to Gardena to enjoy their fine Korean BBQ. Actually, it is one of my favorite places to eat out of any restaurant. You should go there if you want to have a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with reasonable prices, and mouthwatering Korean BBQ. Their choice of ingredients is top notch, customer service extremely friendly, and several meats to choose from. The have a wide variety of styles for their meat choices, and optional side dishes as well. I don't usually order rice, b/c they give you unlimited amounts of Rice Cake wrap to wrap which is REALLY good to wrap the BBQ meat and salad in. The Korean seasoned salad is also very delicious and one of the key points in eating at Yellow Cow Korean BBQ. Together with the Rice Cake wrap and BBQ Meat, the salad is an excellent compliment. After the generous portions of Korean BBQ, they serve you your choice of Dwen-jang Jigae, or Kimchi Jigae (spicier). I've tried and enjoy both, but I tend to order the Kimchi Jigae more.
I've been to many Korean BBQ restaurants in Korea Town, and none compare with this one in my book. Their customer service, as i stated before, is excellent and another reason why i love going there so much.
Tip: make reservations if you will go in the evening as they can get pretty busy. Also, order one of the combo's to get the full course dinner for two. Ask their owner which meats she'd recommend and go with those. If you order the Korean BBQ with Seafood combo, substitute the seafood portion with another meat choice to get more Korean BBQ. If of drinking age, I'd substitute the drink with the alcoholic beverage "San-sa-chun" which is a sweet rice alcohol and compliments the Korean BBQ well. My final word of advice is to go there hungry, and ask the owner for a lot of meat. She'll treat you right and hook you up. Bon Appetit!
- Pros: Good portions of meat, Excellent Salad, Friendly Ambience, Mouth Watering foods, Good customer service. A++
- Cons: Sometimes very busy; no other cons that i can think of.
