A 1920's home transformed into a charming Valley restaurant with a garden patio and homemade Italian fare.
Good food without the pretentious snobbery of many LA restaurants

I have to tell you, I LOVE this place. I'm going to call them for take-out tonight. I'm going to pick up two orders of lasagna, one mushroom and goat cheese and the other just their regular meat and marinara, and I'm going to take them home to my husband, and we're going to pig out until we can't breathe because the food is just so damn good. The dine-in experience is charming and comfortable. When you eat here, oh, and you will...prepare yourself that the hot rolls with garlic and mozzarella are addictive. You will not be able to stop eating them. But please try. Your food is coming, and no one likes a glutton.
- Pros: The food is delicious, the service has always been very friendly, attitude is fantastic
- Cons: parking is street parking or valet only. but this is a MINOR con.
cozy, inviting, delectable!

decided to hang a little low this new year's eve and go to a long, leisurely dinner with friends.
we chose this place somewhat at random. their menu made us salivate.
so glad we did. the rolls are amazing. but so is the food. we all had seafood dishes that dazzled. i highly recommend the seafood linguini. we shared a bottle of wine, drank coffee and ate tiramisu. all were right on point.
by the end of the night we were stuffed and happy and warm. the servers were very friendly and, though i'm sure we kept them longer than they would have preferred on new year's eve, never rushed us. we'll definitely be back!
- Pros: the food, the wine, the atmosophere, the servers.
- Cons: we paid to self park, valet seems pointless because the lot is right there.

My friend and I were debating on were to have a late lunch after we went to the theater, Zach's was the choice. We got there about 15 minutes before the opened, but went in an had a drink, and some of their amazing bread, this stuff is so yummy. I ordered the portabella mushroom ravioli with this amazing sauce. so good. Zach in Studio City is really a cute quaint place, I would say its a great date place, good for out door seating when the weather is nice or just a place were some friends can catch up.
