I hate precious, overpriced baked goods, but.... ...the stuff here is really good.

Silver Lake is filled with subpar, over-priced, over-hyped food joints of all types. This place, though, actually delivers on the goods.

The cakes, brownies, and cupcakes all are made from a moist batter, so you don't choke on the crumbs. And the frostings we've had were all sweet, light, and creamy without being sugary and/or leaden.

They also carry vegan products for your annoying, judgmental friends.

There was a dip in quality about a year ago, but we recently got some brownies and cupcakes, and they were excellent.

We've brought assorted cupcakes to a couple of events, and they made a great presentation. Of course, once we mentioned they were from Silver Lake, the hipster party-goers went even nutsier for them.

But also, be warned, Lark got hit by a wave of business because there was a Living Social coupon offer. That, plus Valentines Day, made ordering and picking up our brownies more complicated than it should have been. There were multiple trips involved, but ultimately, the manager made it right. Now with VD past us, you should be able to get what you want from this place.

They also put out free samples, which is a nice touch when you have to wait on line.

12 Thumbs up!!! Hip hip hooray for cupcakes!. I made a last minute delivery order for 14 cupcakes for a party of 12 people. I made the order on the same day that I needed delivery...the woman on the phone was super nice and accommodating...also, not only were they able to deliver within hours, the delivery man was on-time and friendly, and best of all, the assorted cupcakes were phenomenal! All 12 people raved about each of their different cupcakes. I personally had the carrot cupcake with cream cheese frosting...and went at it like a kid...frosting everywhere! I lost all sense of decorum...and this was at work! I will definitely be ordering from here again...both for the company (like today) and for personal events. Well done Lark! I wish I had known about you sooner...

YUMMY!!!. I tried a couple of cupcakes from Lark, and they were delicious!! I had the caramel one and tried the red velvet also. YUMMY! I will definitely go back to Lark for desserts for future events.

Amazing & Beautiful Red Velvet Cake!!. I recently ordered a huge red velvet cake for a bridal shower. It was breathtakingly love and then i bit into it... yummmmmyy... moist, not too sweet, not too heavy, perfection... I can't recommend them enough & they're very sweet, storefront is lovely & have i mentioned... YUM.

I also bought some cream puffs which too were delicious.... Everyone at the shower commented on the cake and wanted to know where i got it!!

Try the Pumpkin Spice.... These cupcakes are seriously President-suite class cupcakes...the frosting tastes creamy and homemade and the cupcakes themselves are moist and delicious! I'm excited to have discovered yet another LA secret.

One of the BEST cupcakes I've had!. A just had a cupcake smorgasbord and it was SOOOO Amazing! These are by far some of the best cupcakes in Los Angeles. I tried the chocolate caramel (YUM)...the coconut cupcake (YUMMIER)...and the white chocolate lemon cupcake (YUMMIEST). If you need cupcakes for a party or just for your sugar fix, you have to try Lark Cake Shop. The are seriously AMAZING!

Their red velvet cupcakes are a must-try!. Not very often do you run into such a flavorful and deliciously decorated red velved cupcake. I satisfy all my needs for sweets at Lark's, but my favorite is their red velvet cupcake; then again, I love their Mexican powdered cookie and their cranberry oatmeal cookie. there are too many sweets to endulge in, but I must insist that the red velvet is a must try. Go and you'll know what I mean.

Tasty Cupcakes. Cupcakes seem to be all the rage recently. I have tried a few in my day and I just tasted one of the best yet. Someone brought some cupcakes from Lark Cake Shop into the office. I had the coconut cupcake....yummy....I also had a bite of the lemon white cupcake - this was also very good. Not only did these taste good but they were also very pretty.

Yummy, Delicious Cupcakes. I had the Red Velvet and the Lemon White Chocolate cupcakes and both were delicious. Lark Cake Shop is much better than the other cupcakes shops in Los Angeles. My friend had the coconut cupcake and said it was very good.
