Awful experience at Floyd's. I have tried Floyd's two times before this. I was not disappointed because Alex did such a spectacular job. Today I was extremely disappointed. First of all he completely screwed the back of my hair, second of all my sideburns were not even done when he told me that he was finished. I had to remind him and ask him to do them properly. Finally, my girlfriend went with me and he made a lousy job with her bangs, she is extremely angry and disappointed at this lackluster job. She even had to pay a ridiculous $70 dollars for this below par service.

My girlfriend gives an advise to the girls: DO NOT GO HERE.

We will never go again, but I still recommend Alex's service at the Floyd's Hermosa location.

This is NOT a real barbershop!!. I have been going to real Barber shops since I was a little boy. This is not a Barber shop even though they are listed online and in the phone book as such.

From the lousy greeting when I walked in, to the ridiculous excuse for a regular haircut (look up reg. cut in the barber textbooks), this place is terrible.

Too many negatives to list!

Do yourself a favor and find a little hole-in-the-wall barber shop with a Vinny, Jose, Frank or something and get a cut there to support real barbers.

Very bad customer service & haircut.. Supposed to be walk in only but I got passed up twice while waiting. An hour went by but I hung in there because the person in front of me left. Finally when it met my bald barber he was rushed me out. I spoke to the manager but she was no help at all. Why did I waist my time on this venue?

Great Quality and Service. This is easily the best place I've found in the South Bay to get a haircut. They always keep the price low and deliver with a smile. Definitely highly recommended.

waited FOREVER!. I'm actually writing this review as I sit waiting for a haircut (iPhone). I called ahead and had my name put on the list and showed up 30 minutes later. I'm still waiting over an hour later,and could care less if its my best cut ever...I will not be making a return trip to floyds! I forgot to mention that well I waited two other customer got up and left in disgust due to the wait time.

If the goateed barbers and flourescent-haired stylists don't clue you in to this salon chain's vibe, then the blaring music and famed poster wall of rock heroes, movie stars and sexy sirens certainly will. With a spunky mix of retro charm (leather and chrome barber chairs, shampoo bowls at every station and the classic striped barber pole) and modern cool (internet stations and plasma screen TVs), the shop sticks to basic services like unisex cuts, blowouts and coloring treatments.

Hits: Prices are reasonable (about $20 for a basic cut) with each added service such as shampoo, blow-dry and styling priced incrementally.

Misses: Because haircuts are walk-in only, the wait can be agonizingly long, especially on weekends.
