Editorial Review for Umberto LA – by Melissa Gage

In Short
With a team of around 20 stylists, this spacious salon offers a full-range of haircare services, plus manicures and waxing. Clients snack on sandwiches and salads from the in-house café while getting cut and styled. For kids, motorcycle-style chairs put the fun back into getting a haircut. In addition to Umberto's popular line of haircare products, the salon stocks a selection from Redken, TG, Davines and Bumble and Bumble.

omg i just had 2 write a review i was a so so red head ( not naturally) .and i just had my color done here its amazing .. my friend had me go to her stylist & i was hesitent i didnt really want to leave my stylist, but i went along anyway , i am so glad i did . i got her girl bonnie shes super sweet, stylish & fun . she recomended i should go deeper red with my color and leave some of my lighter red (old color) 4 contrast . so i let her go 4 it. she did some trick with foiling in conditioner. then she did her thing and actaly expained what she was doing & why, i loved that. anyway i had a three step process and my last step was an allover gloss ( never had that b4) but it was worth it. my hair is so shiny and soft it looks so much better i didnt realize i was a dull copper b4. my eyes look brighter and the old copper pieces left out in foils r shiny & brighter from the gloss. im so excited 4 my hair, it wasnt expesive either for everything she did 4 me it was 190 plus tip, not bad i usually am paying over 200 . she didnt have time 2 cut me but my friend had a cut a blowdry same day it looked fantastic . ill be back for sure , make sure you get a referal though, i just loved bonnie ..but i did see some stylists there with just no style it seemed i saw the same color & style on every girl that came in or left. so be sure to get a name from a friend or if you can get in with bonnie you will leave happy. other wise you do take a chance on who you get.

Pros: nice stylists , a cafe, parking, clean , same day appt.

Cons: the decore is bad
