In Short – Not just your average buffet, this place serves up a scrumptious assortment of authentic Brazilian sides among the variety of churrasco barbecue choices. Fried plantains, garlic rice, collard greens, along with their trademark cheese bread complement sizable portions of protein including top sirloin, lamb, Brazilian sausage and chicken breast with bacon. Stick to a few dishes, or grab a little bit of everything and pile on the pay-per-poundage.

Quick and Tasty

by luckysun at Citysearch

After a few visits to Pampas Gill, my wife and I got the hang of how to eat there. First: don't load up on the sides. They weigh your plate and you'll want to save ounces for the meat. I just get some caesar salad and yucca fries. Then: go for the sirloin. They slice it it front of you, it's pretty lean, and very tasty. Can be a bit salty though. We like to put some of their tangy hot sauce on it. The chicken has a bone in it, adding to the weight, and was too salty for my tastes. And finally: go before 6 pm for a hefty early dinner discount. (You can take it to go and have it later if you want.) The two of us get out of there for under 20 bucks, a tasty and filling sirloin dinner, split a soda. Well worth it. Quick and easy.

  • Pros: Affordable, tasty top sirloin dinner. Early bird special.
  • Cons: Can get pricey if you dont watch your side orders at the buffet. Can be salty.

Good food, but a little expensive for a buffet style meal - recommend Happy Hour -- 50% off food

by asm618 at Citysearch

I went here for the first time the other night. The food was good, but not spectacular. It's buffet style and you're charged by the pound. My husband and I spent $25 for the two of us, but didn't really feel that full afterwards Drink options are limited, we paid $1.95 to split a can of Coke. There are also a few bottles of beer to chose from. There were no fountain drinks. I think it's a little overpriced for a buffet style meal. The meat was tender and tasty, though. I saw a sign on the window advertising 50% off food prices for Happy Hour -- that means going before 6pm. I think if I go again I'll do the Happy Hour so that I feel like I'm getting more for my money.

  • Pros: food, quick service, outdoor seating
  • Cons: price, buffet style
