Shoo Fly, Shoo!. I tried to eat a meal inside on a weekday, but the flies kept landing on my salad. My friend and I both complained several times, and since we were the only customers, I thought the waiter (only person in the place beside the cook) would try to deal with it. But he continued to eat his rib lunch and say he couldn't do anything about it! Absurb! I finally got up and swatted them with a menu. I won't return until the fly problem is dealt with. Period! Prices are on the high side. $6 for a cup of ceasar salad.

If you like good food go somewhere else. I like to support local businesses in my neighborhood. I have tried Bondi BBQ several times and have come to the conclusion that the food just isn't that good at all. Maybe that is how they do BBQ in Australia but I like my BBQ a certain way and that includes flavor. Soupy creamed spinach and forget the close slow - would make good packing material! And then there is a grumpy guy that works at the cash register - man he is mean. And when you order from the menu do not be suprised that they don't have that item today WTF? There are a lot of other places around the 'hood to spend my money and that is where I will go.

Take your tastebuds Down Under at this Australian-style barbecue joint in Venice Beach.. Don't be put off by the honky-tonk atmosphere surrounding this cozy shack smack dab in the belly of the Venice Beach beast--the restaurant is safe, cozy and one of those special little spots you want to tell your friends about. Lined with sheet metal walls and about half a dozen tables (fortunately, they're big and roomy), the space is clean and comfortable. Beef ribs, chicken and pulled pork are thrown on the barbie, which gives 'em that sticky, sizzling barbecue flavor right off the grill. It kind of makes you want to say, Fair dinkum, mate!
