Not Like It Was...

I used to love going to the old location for pizza, it was crowded but managable. The new location is ridiculously packed and hectic. It's far too tight and while the waiters are trying, the service is rigid and cold because they're hurrying to help all of the customers. It's loud and we've had our order brought to us incorrectly two visits in a row. We tried a call in order last week, since we do love the pizza, and when we went to pick it up 30 minutes later it hadn't even been cooked yet! We are very disappointed because it was part of our weekly routine we looked forward to, but now will probably be looking for a new place.
- Pros: Great Pizza
- Cons: Too small a space for the crowd
A Taste of Italy in Universal City

This restaurant has moved to a really cool space next door to the old location. I was in there the first week they opened and it was hopping. The atmosphere is romantic and friendly. You can tell the owner is passionte about food and people. How many places do you go to these days where the owner brings you out a plate that he prepared just for you and it's covered in shaved truffle. The night we were there we sat next to an A-list actor but it is still not a pretentious place. People talk from table to table. You hear people speaking Italian. It's alive. The prices are pretty much the same as they were in the old place, which makes this new location our favorite place to eat any day of the week.
- Pros: Great Food!
- Cons: Can be addictive...
I Love This Place

Angelino's is a true hidden find in the North Hollywood area. During lunch, my co-workers would come here and one day I accompanied them - I'm so glad I did. I've been a loyal customer since.
Angelino and his wife are kind, warm, and friendly and the food is top notch. Their garlic bread, pasta sauces, and meats are cooked and seasoned to perfection, although, my favorite is their amazing pizza. It's nice to have Italian food that's rich, but not heavy or greasy.
I have since changed jobs and am in a different part of town, but once in a while I make the drive to grab some wonderful Italian food and it only makes me wish I was still close by.
- Pros: The excellent food, the superior service
- Cons: Bad parking, the bathroom door sometimes doesn't lock
