i had a bad experience with Flora.. i had a bad experience with Flora. When I called to make an appt., she scheduled it for February 14th, Valentine's Day. Then the day of the appt. she called to ask me if I could come in earlier....I couldn't because I was at work and had scheduled the original appt. for after work. I had told her that we could reschedule it and she said no and kept it at the orig. time. Well talk about being rushed. When I got there she was on the phone and took her time on her phone call before she got to me. Then while in the chair, she kept getting personal phone calls which meant that I had to sit there till she was done with her phone conversation. Then when she did get back to cutting and styling my hair, she rushed thru it and then got back on another phone call. When I left the salon, she was standing outside chit chatting on the phone....I was really disappointed in this place because all the reviews were so good.

Great haircut!. Flora has given me terrific haircuts every time since I started going to her last year. She is friendly and fun, and

extremely skilled. I'm very happy with her, and plan to continue seeing her at Impulse Salon on Magnolia.

Let this woman cut your hair!. You won't be disappointed. She is extremely nice and very honest. She is a very skilled artist. I have difficult hair and had been having a hard time finding someone who could do a good job. I found her on the internet and saw she had good reviews so I tried her. Love her! I thought the salon was adorable. Like you stepped into a time machine that took you back to the 70s. That worried me actually but Flora is so good, it didn't matter. Funny salon, super nice, highly skilled, unpretentious people (the other stylists are a crack up and also very nice). Flora and "Impulse Salon" are a gem in today's cranky world. Highly recommend her.

Great Color/Cut/Highlights and eyebrow threading too. I've been coming to Flora for almost 4 years now... finding a good hair stylist is very difficult and I was totally lost until my sister introduced me to Flora. I'm glad I no longer have to search.

Flora really listens to what you want and gives great advice to how to style your hair that will bring out your best attributes.

Everytime I come to Flora I always get compliments about my cut/color/highlights from friends and co-workers and sometimes even strangers on the street.

She uses nothing but the best products and no matter how busy she is.. she makes time to squeeze you in.

Flora is a true professional and I highly recommend her!

She also provides eyebrow threading.. which is nice b/c its like a one stop shop!

Yes, all true. Yes, what you read is true.

I too was looking for a new hair lady in Burbank and found Flora to be the ONE.

She listens to what you want and does it. I never leave thinking " oh what have I done" and she doesn't " overcut."

I had some breakage problems with my hair; and with Flora's help it is looking much better.

I would recommend her highly!

Wonderful hair stylist. Yesterday I was in desperate need of a haircut and color, and I was looking for someone local in the Burbank area. I read some reviews about Hair by Flora on Citysearch and decided to give her a try. I couldn't be happier with the results! Flora did a fantastic job with my hair. My goal was to lighten my hair without bleaching or damaging it. Flora took the time to talk with me about what I wanted and how to accomplish it without damaging my hair. After she was finished with my hair, I had beautiful highlights and the perfect cut. Not only is Flora incredibly talented and knowledgeable about hair, she is also an amazing person with a kind heart and a wonderful personality. I will definitely be going back to Flora in the future. I would recommend Flora to anyone looking for a great hairstylist!

I found amazing. I am moving back to Burbank, and had to find a new hair person. Have been through 4 horrifying people-burned hair, bad color, don't listen, just all around bad. I get 3 colors put in, on top of natural curly hair and I like to keep it long. Flora is awesome-she listened to my goal, what I wanted my hair to look like-how I needed her to fix it and save it-AND SHE DID IT!!!! I have my new hair lady :) Thank you Flora-my search is over!!

Fabulous cut and color. Looking for a hairdresser that will give you a cut and color that will make you look like a star.....? Don't even stop and think about it- call Flora now. I have been seeing Flora for over 10 years + and I live an hours drive from Burbank . I always leave happy and feeling great. She always gives her undivided attention, and a fabulous cut and color.

My new hair stylist... I was going from one salon to another for years until my neighbor recommended Flora. She said that Flora has been doing her hair for years now and she is very happy. I'm also very happy that I found Flora who by the way I'm proud to call my new stylist. Thank you Flora for such an awesome job.
