Editorial Review for Nakkara on Beverly – by Matthew Allard
In Short
Eschewing obvious bamboo decor, this sexy Thai restaurant opts for low, blue-hued lighting, braided leather tabletops and stark white walls; a single row of low-hanging orb lights take the modern mood one step further. And what luck that the uber-sophisticated atmosphere, complete with a swanky cosmopolitan soundtrack, actually gives way to an easily affordable menu. Dishes--from chunky pineapple curry to pad see you with a kick--are served in no time and devoured in even less.

I tried to order delivery from this place and they were not able to decipher if I was in their delivery area, despite the fact that I lived less than three miles away. I asked to speak to a manager and they hung up on me.
Pros: non
Cons: poor staff

My friends have been raving about this little place ever since the day they went, so I was excited to finally go and check it out for myself. I 100% agree with their assessment of this delicious little gem of a thai restaurant. The food is delicious and very affordable. Portion sizes are ample and the service is polite and prompt. Available seating is on the smaller side, but I've never had a wait. I strongly recommend the yellow chicken coconut curry and the garlic green beans are a must. Also, who doesn't love BYOB (not to mention there isn't a corkage fee)? Great date place and the venue is very accommodating for larger parties. Parking might be a little tricky depending on the time of the day, but given the location, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle as there are plenty of metered spots around.
Pros: Scrumptious food, great prices!
Cons: Might have difficutly finding a metered parking spot, but you'll find one eventually
