I left the corporate world to pursue a career working with animals and as soon as I began to follow my new career path, I found myself at knocking on Melissa's door.

As soon as I met Melissa and heard about her business and all of the incredible things she does make her clients, both the two-legged and four-legged ones happy, I knew I had found the right company to work for.

Melissa has done her homework and goes above and beyond to provide excellent service to all of her clients. She trains her staff on the proper way to use choke collars, how to execute commands to ensure our safety, as well as the animal's safety, and how to calmly and assertively walk three dogs at the same time - plus many, many other things that help us to be better animal people and to provide outstanding service.

Melissa's Mutt Hutt is a licensed and bonded pet services company with with over 32 staff specializing in: private and semi private dog walking (never more than 3 dogs of same size, neighborhood and disposition) in home pet sitting, grooming, private cage-free boarding, obedience training, and pet taxi services. ALL of our employees (Mutt Hutters) have had extensive background screening including social security, reference and criminal checks, and are certified in first aid and bonded for $2 million dollars in liability insurance to insure you, your property and most importantly pets safety. Incredible Pet People. Melissa's Mutt Hutt visit and play my love bird whenever I have to travel, and they do such an awesome job that I do not feel guilty leaving my bird behind. They play with her in all the ways that I would, and they leave such detailed notes on their activities that I know how much fun my bird had.

Loving and reliable pet care. Melissa and staff are professional,reliable and loving caretakers of my dog,cat and fish. I request a schedule for each month for daily walks, feedings and overnight stays .They leave a written journel of your pets activities during their stay, which is so comforting. When I go out of town I am completely relaxed knowing my pets will be cared for.I am so grateful to have them as my pet service. I have started purchasing 20 dog walk booklets, which you pay ahead and they record in your pet journel each time they visit. They have gone above and beyond to care for my pets.

They obviously love what they do and it shines through. Melissa and Nea are sweet, thorough, personable and extremely dependable. They have always been accommodating even on the shortest of notice. Whether its been for walks, boarding or even just transport, I'm confident Grover is in capable, trustworthy hands.

Dog sitting. Melissa is GREAT!!! And her staff is great too.. She is always right there and goes the extra mile. My dog loves them because they love my dog! THE BEST!!! 5 STAR SERVICE!!! 2 THUMBS WAY UP!!!

Best Dogwalkers Ever!!!. Melissa's Mutt Hutt is the ONLY pet service I use in Los Angeles. Melissa and her staff are the most reliable, caring and drama-free dogwalkers and sitters I've ever had the pleasure to know. My dog, Suerta, loves Melissa and I always feel at ease knowing she is in good hands when I am in town. Unlike other experiences I've had with pet services folks, who -- let's be honest -- can be a little nutty -- Melissa and her staff are true professionals. They do what they say, when they say it, and with a smile... and no problems or hassles!

I Love Melissa's Mutt Hutt. Melissa's Mutt Hutt has been excellent for my dog Max. Jasima and Jordan walk Max every day and in the evenings when I can't get home from work in time. I would strongly recommend Melissa's Mutt Hutt. Max loves them!

Loving care for your pet. When we contacted Melissa's Mutt Hutt and Cat Shack we were looking for someone who would be conscientious and caring for our dog Dusty. Melissa gave us personal attention, asked all the right questions, and committed to doing a great job taking care of and walking our Dusty.
