What People Are Saying About Grace Ellay

Ramey Arnold opened her boutique in the fall of 2007 as a place to spotlight the art and crafts of her friends, family and favorite clothing, bag and jewelry designers. There are naturalistic landscapes by Arkansas-based dad David Linn Arnold, mom Lynda's one-of-a-kind Asian throws, pal Zach Masela's handsewn Refused and Reused leather wallets and guitar pick caddies, brother-in-law Jeremy Szuder's handpainted jewelry boxes, plus luxurious leather Brazilian purses, in addition to exclusive--and super-soft--Man Born En Nest T-shirts.
LOVE this shop/gallery

I just registered with this site in order to add my two cents about Grace Ellay...it's such a WONDERFUL shop. Incredible clothes and art and vibe, I could hang out there all day. In fact, I almost just did. Ramey, the owner, is fabulous. And if you happen to need any tips on stepping up your fashion game (like I always do) she'll take care of you!
Also, here's some breaking news: She's planning to extend their hours very soon, so please everyone make it worth her while...we have to support this rare gem of a place.
Best boutique, art gallery, and hang out spot all rolled into one!!!

I live next door to Grace Ellay and can't help but stop in every time that I see them open. The first thing that will draw you in is the cute unique designer clothes in the racks. Then you notice that they are, well, affordable!! Then you meet Ramey, who is this wonderful, friendly, strong, down-to-earth, honest, and just plain cool woman, who is the owner. The store is often open past 6 on the weekends and you can find Ramey and a few friends or random people that stopped by sitting at the two comfy chairs in the store sipping on a glass of wine. If it seems like it couldn't get any better, this place has some amazing art openings with beautiful art and people who are both fascinating and approachable. This place will captivate you!
Say grace for Grace

Die-hard clotheshorse here, and this was quite a find. Lovely unique pieces that you just might see on "Ugly Betty" or "Madmen" and the prices are reasonable, to say the least. Terrific blousey t-shirts for under $60, dresses for under $100, dressier tops for less than $60, too. Don't overlook the handbags from Brazil-hand-tooled leather with beautiful interiors--under $200. Of course there are bags from Italy that you can find at Fred Segal, but why pay those prices and get attitude? Ramey 's friendly knowledgeable style is a welcome change from the boutique snootiness one might encounter elsewhere.
Great stuff all around...
- Pros: would like more pants
- Cons: street parking can be tricky...call for store hours, too
