Beware

BEWARE BEFORE ADOPTING OR BRINGING YOUR DOG INTO THIS STORE. I adopted a puppy 2 weeks ago, he was affected with the parvo virus and had kennel cough. Parvo is one of the most deadly viruses a dog can have, we still do not know if our puppy is going to make it. He has been fighting for his life at the vet for the past week. Parvo is also very contagious and all the dogs are running around together, so it is very likely that the other puppies there are affected as well. I called today to tell them to check the other puppies for Parvo and they told me he was probably diagnosed wrong, they showed no true concern for my dog or the other puppies in the store. You would think with a $450 dollars adoption fee they would give proper health checks. Having un-vaccinated dogs running around together is very irresponsible and dangerous. There is a reason why the Humane Society keeps their dogs separate.

With the slowing national economy and a state budget in arrears, money and services used to assist our furry friends are at a historic low. Bark n' Bitches is a fantastic example of private business stepping in to do what the public sector unfortunately cannot. Amazing Store for Dog Adoptions and Dog Accoutrement

I love this store! I was looking to adopt a dog for a while. I love the atmosphere at Bark n' Bitches - the dogs are all running around and playing, as opposed to being locked up in small cages like other rescues in the area (Orange Bone). The owner, Shannon, was great! I wasn't sure exactly what dog I wanted to get, and she let me foster a few dogs first, so I could make an eductated decision before committing to a dog. I fell in love with the first dog I fostered! It was the best decision to come to Bark n' Bitches to adopt. After I adopted, Shannon got me all set up with an amazing collar (best collar selection!), healthy food, toys, bones, and an incredible bed that I wish was my own! Not to mention I got 20% off everything as a thank you for adopting from the store. The store is filled with amazing merchandise for a reasonable price. I can't say enough good stuff about Bark n' Bitches. My friends also just adopted a dog from there - we're all in love with our new babies! Thank you Shannon and Bark n' Bitches - what a wonderful experience!!

The Greatest Experience... EVER!

I am so thrilled this place exists!!! I live in the neighborhood and have always loved dogs. It seemed that every time I talked to to someone in my neighborhood about their pup, they got it from Bark n' Bitches. They always had so many great things to say about their experience. Well, I moved into a dog friendly apt and headed straight over to Bark n' Bitches. They were nothing short of amazing. It took awhile to pick out the pup, I was interested in. The owner suggested I foster to adopt to make sure it is a great fit. I took them up on it. Five days later I adopted "Bullet". They then in turn gave me a 20% discount to help me get set up with my new pup. They were everything I heard they were. If you are considering adding a new pet to your family... you must go to Bark n' Bitches. The employees were fantastic and I say, "run don't walk to this amazing store"! Thank you for my new friend!

What an AMAZING store....!!!!

Everywhere I go, people are talking about this place. I finally went there myself. Now I get it! What a concept for a business. The variety and exceptional care they take of their customers is outstanding. I also found as exceptional as the products were, they were very reasonably priced for the quality. I purchased a leather collar that I am constantly getting comments on. As important, the owner is all inspiring. She has also taken on saving the lives of shelter dogs and re homes them. The dogs are in the store finally on their way to a safe place. They run freely, play, eat holistic food and get lots of love and treats. Please support this store so they can continue to save these precious lives... Bark n' Bitches ROCKS!!!
