In Short – Enriching the heart of LACMA's campus, the three-story masterpiece of architect Renzo Piano is the central focus of "transformation," the museum's 10-year renovation project. There's just something depressing about this museum. Even wtih the new building it just feels wrong. The new building is also more building than art.
